If you have Firefox, you get automatic spelling check.
The Add-On Text Formating Toolbar does select and click forum coding. Also does it for Wiki pages. Just FYI. -

I created a new character and don't have that exclusion problem that I can see in the costume editor.

I don't know about W7, but for Vista and XP, you can hit the Windows key for the start menu bar then click on display desktop for force the application to minimize.

Try the newest XP driver.
Not seeing characters means that a whole set of textures isn't been loaded or processed. To make sure they're on your computer, delete from CoH directory the file coh.checksum, reboot, and restart the client and let it go through the reverification process.
If that doesn't make them display, try each of the shader detail settings. You have to hit apply and let the textures reload, it doesn't change on the fly like some other options. -

I had to be told the skull's text was a clue starting a scavenger hunt. Once I knew that I was able to find all the lobby items just using the clues. After that I needed help because some of the clues in the back halls are just... strange.
Even now I can't match up every clue to every object.

Last night as we were waiting for a Citadel TF to start, one of the players was in Pocket D the entire recruiting phase.
As the recruiting was nearing completion, the team leader starts to ask our clubber to come to Talos.
After the fourth time asking, using all caps (he did it in a fun way, not mean), the clubber informs us that he has the Mission Teleporter.
That's when I say, "But in order to get our first mission in order for you to TP to, we have to *start* the TF which requires everyone to be in Talos."
He then came scrambling to Talos.
On that same TF, I had to teach the team leader what an Ouroboros Portal was, how to get his own Portal, and how to use it as a shortcut.
At least they were willing to learn and didn't fight me over it. -

In Beta, we were able to zero in on some items because of the clue without having to blind-click everything. In the example above that Tony gave, box is obvious and that narrows down where to click/look. -

2.) Set all bins to 5 star clearance and all editing funtions to 5 star. Leave invites to 1 star level
3.) pay some lowbie a goodly sum of cash (20k per toon, is what i did)
4.) invite them at 1 star
5.) log and get them to invite your toons
6.) once done, pay them and then kick them and anyone you dont recognize on your list
7.) Change permissions to 1 star so all your toons can do base stuff
It's a pain, but if you do all your toons at once not so bad.

I would make bin permission superleader only and invite the accomplice to the leader 5 star level. The accomplice would then invite my alts and promote them all to 5 star level. Then, when the accomplice is paid and kicked, change bin permissions to 5 stars. This allows you to invite others at levels 1 - 4 with various permissions without giving them bin permission yet. -

We don't know. A Dev has not spoken to repeated requests to put a MA terminal in Pocket D. They are aware that's what we'd like. -
Yeah, the graphics chip is below minimum requirements. It was not meant for many of the features of a high-end 3D game. It would be best to shut off or turn to lowest level all graphical effects and see how the game runs and looks.
Then, go back turning on/up each effect one by one. If that has no effect on how the game looks, then leave it off/low, because your graphics chip can't deal with it. If it start degrading performance, bring it back down a notch or shut it off.
One thing that makes the game look great is a high shader detail, and the CoH Helper report shows no result for that. Maybe your GPU can't do any shading details.
You would do well to tune up your computer a bit. Your C: drive is three quarters full and there are a lot of background processes running on your computer. See this site to understand your HijackThis. And this site for an evaluation of your HijackThis. -

It's definitely something screwy on their account management not properly keeping track of Vet rewards and the goodies from boosters and stacked editions. I was hoping their account management blackout last Thursday for maintenance would have fixed all that.

Teleport is good. So also is Phasing. You can pick up phase powers from Warburg patrol missions (hyper phase, renewable 2 extra times), from a Power Pool (Concealment > Phase Shift), or create a temp phase power from a recipe (Ethereal Shift) that is fairly inexpensive on the Market.
The other thing is to make sure you have enough KB protection so that you can keep on going past them. There are three Special IOs that give you 4 points of KB mag protection (Karma, Steadfast Protection, and Blessing of the Zephyr) and a set that gives 3 points of KB protection (Kinetic Crash). -
