no more window out of CoH

anyone know why i can't window out of CoH anymore ?

I am running Windows 7 RC I havn't updated anything or installed any graphics options or such, now when i hit the win key, i don't get the startmenu overlapping the game anymore. The game screen darkens ( at it normally does when you hit the win key) but there is no start menu.

i don't like to play the game in "windowed" mode. i just like the option to tab out ( alt-tab and winkey tab doesn't work either)

sure hope someone can help. cuz it's really annoying.

You could try control-alt-delete, then select Task Manager. This should bring you back to the desktop. Not elegant, but it should work.

I don't know about W7, but for Vista and XP, you can hit the Windows key for the start menu bar then click on display desktop for force the application to minimize.

Are you playing the game on the same resolution as your desktop size? Sometimes you can have undesired results when playing fullscreen on a different resolution, especially when trying to switch back and forth.

oh for sure i am. i checked it out to make sure before i posted. as that was one of my issues with Everquest.

i dunno. perhaps its a windows thing that changed ? who knows. and unfortunatly with Windows 7 when you press control alt delete, you get a screen as apposed to a window that pops up in winxp.

I haven't noticed this issue on any of my machines(Win XP 32bit, Vista 64bit, Win7RC 64bit) unless the game is not in windowed mode. I switched to windowed via game options and play at full screen resolution. You may want to try that.

My pc decided to factory restore itself instead of system restore to an earlier date, and i had to re-install everything an update everythin'. When i finally got this game updated an loaded, i couldn't alt tab out either. Still can't for that matter. No idea how to fix it either.
