I am sure it is something that has been on beta already. I would love for it to be the flying carpet. I am skipping the Carni Set (I only play male toons), so I kinda hope it is not that.

Makes me a little sad. I am wondering if that means the Statesman TF will also change.

Quote:I think it will happen. Synapse made it very clear that he wants] to give us the extra slots, and that he would continue working towards doing so. At this point it is just a matter of time.As someone mentioned above, they tried adding additional slots back when Issue 19 or 20 was in beta. They recently said that they are *still* finding things that it broke, months later. Which means two things: 1. They are still looking at it. 2. I wouldn't count on it ever happening.

Quote:I am pretty sure the IO sets in the market can be used w/o a license. This was covered in the beta where the Devs stated that players will always be able to continue to use things they have paid RL money for. It seems the super packs would fall under the same statement.Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying here.
A Premium player can buy a Super Pack, open it to find a Brute ATIO, then put that ATIO in their Brute without requiring a license or VIPitude.
Edit: I'll back off on this, actually. I believe it to be true, but I can't find the redname post I swear I remember reading stating as much. -
Quote:This is a bit off topic, but it has been bothering me since the Coffee Talk on Wens.
Crits are unreliable.
All of the ATs seem to be getting improvements and tweaks to their inherent powers. Now, scrappers don't NEED a change, but crits are the most unreliable and basic of any of the inherent I can think of.
I think it is time to make it more reliable, or at least more predictable. -
I would sure like to see it too.

Quote:If it means more power sets for the game, then I really don't care. I will buy the melee powers, and enjoy watching others use the non-melee powers.TW is at least as popular as Time was when it came out on new characters - and everyone had to buy TW.
I have to assume that they sold a ton of the powersets, which means we should expect more pay for sets in the future.
And while people in game think the set is powerful, they didn't seem to buy them because they'd read about that. They just wanted a new set or liked the look.
Of course there may be no MM pet sets like this, just ones that can go on several AT's so lots of people will want them.
To me, more is better even if some of it is not free. -
There are so many ways to get the IOs I want now that I am not sure I would use these outside of purples, because I ALWAYS get crappy purple drops when I get them at all.
As for any other IO in the game (outside of PvP IOs) I can use alignment merits, reward merits, the incarnate stores, or the paragon market. Most of those are cheaper and more time effective.
Well, Perhaps I would also use it on AT IOs. -
I am glad to see that stalkers are being looked at, and the tweaks look good. I do however hope that they go over ALL of the AT inherent abilities at some point. I know Scrappers don't need any help, but it would be cool if their inherent could be spiced up a bit.

Quote:This is what I meant in my post, and what I assumed others meant. I just want the option to purchase the items outside of the packs. I am still willing to pay for them, I just don't want to have to gamble for them.I should have posted this before my last one:
Thanks for the information, Positron.
What about costume parts for purchase for VIPs? Could you restrict the purchase of certain items in the Paragon Market to only be for VIPs, with a worst case scenario being Premiums subbing for a single month 3 years from now and then buying enough points to get all the VIP costume packs they missed? -
-
Hey I have a better idea. Let's ignore the clipping so we can all get the CoT costume parts we REALLY wanted. It seems clipping is only an issue when it is used as an excuse to not give us costume items.
-
I think VIPs should have a way to get the costume items outside of the super packs.

None of the mutant pack items have the glowing parts any longer. I paid for the glow, and I would like for the glow to be returned.
-
Yes! Thanks to all of those who secure the freedom I so enjoy. I think you are all taken for granted too often, and not treated with the respect you deserve for the service you give.
-
The Bioluminescence options no longer glow! I reported this multiple times in beta and it still made it to live! Please stop breaking my costumes.
-
Yeah, it sucks that I didn't win. Is what it is though, congratz to those who did.
I wanted to thank those who have complimented the costume I did enter though. It takes some of the sting of not winning out of it. There were several others who I also thought would place and didn't. -
I have a thing for DC action figures. I have some DC direct stuff, but what I really like are the ones that Wal-mart and stores like it carry. I keep them in the package, and use them as wall decorations. They tend to run about $15 each, which is not so bad. I have a few that I had to purchase on the web, but mostly I find what I am looking for w/o resorting to have it shipped.
There are 2 that continue to elude me. I want a Cassidy Cain Batgirl, and a Kyle Rayner GL. Both of which are around $50, and my wife looks at me funny when I bring them up. :/
The kicker was when I went to price the figures (always good to know what you have) and discovered that I have several that are valued at over $75. Didn't see that coming at all.
This one in particular really surprised me, in a good way.

Quote:I agree with all of this, and yet I still wish you guys had access to all of the dance emotes in guild wars. There are different kinds of sharing:
Sharing of best practices, sharing of ideas, sharing of creative processes and sharing of lessons learned through experience are definitely things we share between studios.
Each NCsoft product has it's own distinct and unique characteristics which doesn't usually lend itself to directly sharing assets, not that we'd want to. You play City of Heroes because we are who we are, much in the same reason you would play Guild Wars, L2 or Aion or, in the future, Wildstar and Guild Wars 2: For their own unique experiences. -
Wow, that is pretty bad. I guess I am saving more points. I am trying to be charitable here, but this is really bad.
