A big Thanks!
Thank you and thank you to all the vets and current members of the military.
Especially to those that have fallen for our freedoms we all enjoy.
Yes! Thanks to all of those who secure the freedom I so enjoy. I think you are all taken for granted too often, and not treated with the respect you deserve for the service you give.

And for the USians: Remember, *Memorial Day* is for those who died in service. *Veterans Day* is (mostly) for those living who served. [It annoys me when Americans don't get that.]

As an honorably discharged Marine, I would like to take the opportunity of Veteran's Day to say Thank You to the American public.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve. Thank you for providing a culture and idealogy worth fighting for.
But mostly, I would like to thank America for changing. Not so long ago the veterans were, at worst, condemned and reviled or, at best, forgotten. As a community, we Americans have gone through a significant change of attitude regarding those who have served in our military.
Now, our soldiers who return from war with post traumatic stress are not greeted with fear and whispered rumor, but with understanding and gentle counsel. Now, our warriors who have left parts of themselves on the battlefields in lands we don't even know the names of, are not treated like as less than sum of their parts. Our veterans are no longer forced to be social outcasts, hovering on the outer edges of our tables and left to beg for scraps.
We have learned, as a country, to hate war but still to love the people sent to wage it.
So, as a Veteran... thank you.
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw
There are few people I respect more than those who have served honorably. You have my thanks and my support.
Thank you for that Steelclaw, and for your service in the Marines.
I'll just add my voice to the collective Thank you to all of you currently serving, or who have in the past, and my best wishes to your families.
As someone with friends and loved ones in every branch of the Armed Forces (including hubby @Blood Speaker, a 10-year USAF vet), cheers to those who serve.

I remember the first time someone honestly thanked me for my service after September 11th (something that had never happened before in my several years in the military at that point). It really is wonderful feeling appreciated instead of just sort of taken for granted.

I would also like to express my thanks to all those who are serving in the Armed Forces.
One of my in-game friends is a Marine. He's currently stationed in a distant time zone, but I stay up late to meet him on weekends. I'll be sure to direct him here. I hope that reading this will make his day.
To all who have served and or are currently serving in the Armed Forces. I know many play CoH and just wanted to let you guys know you are all very much appreciated.

I couldn't agree more.
Thanks to all our Vets, past and present.
Our freedoms are the result of your efforts and sacrifices.
