Quote:We've noticedI havent played a whole lot for the past entire year. I have been "On Holiday"... but with al this fuss about GR/Iss17 I just somehow felt the need to get in gear...
I rearranged my base... I have 15 Salvage holders thingys full of salvage mostly red...
I have been stockpiling all my purple built IOs in those IO holder things.
When it drops, I dont wanna "want" stuff I can't have immediately >.>
I am weird like that.

Quote:Move the Vahzilok to a different level, where their Toxic DoT and mass slows and vomit isn't guarenteed to hurt as ungodly much as it does atm. Other than that, they are pretty cool.would love to see the Vazhilok retconned to be a much more important group. They are an ace enemy and get outlevelled way too quick. I'd like to see them like the CoT & Council who travel with you through your levelling arc.
I also agree the Skulls could seriously be given some love! -
*pats his rig and the Nvidia 9800 GT*
Let 'em rip, baby

I like the examples here. And yeah, long male hair is kinda...lacking.
Some of those Final Fantasy examples are good, too.

Quote:30 minutes gets my signed.There's little to no risk traveling to a mission in most cases, just travel time and sight-seeing.
Five, or even fifteen minutes recharge means that it would be available at almost every mission completion. Might as well just have all the missions take place in one building at that point.
Two hours means that, for me, it's available once per play session. Might as well be twelve hours.
I think that thirty minutes is a reasonable recharge. -
Quote:I don't know why people keep branding RP like this.Make that two. Also, RP should never be listed as a reason not to do something. You can RP anything. If an aspect of the game breaks the fourth wall for you, it's only because you lack imagination (and that shouldn't drive development).
It makes PERFECT RP sense if the markets merged. I mean, for heaven sake, we all KNOW Crey is evil...but is the Countess in jail? Nope! Why? Money. The markets must be absolutely loaded (Conceptually) so...durr?
Either that, or shipments get stolen. And its bad practice to tell customers that stuff got nicked. Instead there have been "shipping delays. Wentworths thanks its customers for thier patience while the items requested are restocked. We appreciate your custom."
Lies, blackmail, deciet...dear me, people can be terrible things at times...and thats just in reality! -
Well, my reasons;
Endurance. Endurance use on a Kheldian before level 20 is crippling outside of the forms. I dont care what people say about slotting, I tried it. It didnt work. You will be out of endurance every damn fight.
Cysts and Quantums. Cysts are irritating. I only recently found out there is a way to make them spawn less fluffies of doom, but their still a royal PITA for me.
Quantums...I really dont buy what people say about the damage nerf to them. I get the feeling some bit of code might have broken, somewhere, because Quantums still seem to do ungodly damage levels to Khelds, both mine when I had them and other peoples. /Opinion
PB attack sounds. A small niggle, but a contributing factor to me deleting the PB I was working on was that god-awful chime sound which plyed *every* attack. It was literally giving me a headache, and I dont get them easily.
Non-solo friendly. People say they are, and I admit that when I got my PB to 20-ish and was tri-forming, things did get quite a bit easier...but that was because it was nigh impossible for it to get any harder.
Kheldians are jacks of all trades, and masters of none. The people who mostly say Kheldians are solo friendly and will opose this view tend to be the ones who have high level and slotted ones. /Opinion
Personal tastes. Not every AT is for everyone. I also cant find myself enjoying controllers or dominators. HEATs are just another AT that doesnt quite do it for me.
They do get a better story-line than VEATs, though. Even if Vahzilok are pure evil to fight at low levels >_>
...And I'm now tempted to try rolling a Warshade, to try again...meh, I'm a sucker for punishment sometime >_< -
Quote:By buffing I mean keeping at least three people under Fortitude as I can, CM on the squishies, and auras and Adrenaline boost when they tick around.I've played a high lvl Empath. The buffs are on a pretty long timer. So unless you're spamming out Clear Mind for the buff, how exactly are you not healing when necessary, more so if you're the only buffer/debuffer on the team?
Yeah, on a good team, those auras might just be enough (or even unneeded), but unless like I said, an exceptional team, I found you're going to be busy using Healing Aura and Heal Other.
Unless it's a small team. Or Duo.
Depending on the team make up, yes I do sometimes need to 'spam' heals. But that and mind-mauling stuff (psi) is just business as usual, you could say. The real points are the buffs =] -
Quote:Bahahahaha!I got this the other day on an SG TF, totally pissed me off!
And the person tried to tell me "You're a Defender, why aren't you healing?" To which I replied, you're a fighter, why aren't you surviving?"
I need to remember that one
Win
But yeah, I'm glad there are no 'Healer' ATs here...and thats coming from someone with an Empathy/Psi Fender. I heal where necessary, but most of the time I'm using the real tools of the set, and thats the buffs. I fully understand the annoyance, though. The real answer is;
It's not that your wrong for the team. The team is wrong for you (by dint of being that narrowminded :P) -
I fudge this with my Spider, Krimzon Commander, in that he has two suits of armour. The Crab armour is his 'Heavy Armour', and the suit itself basically up-links to him while wearing it.
I think it wasn't designed for use with dual builds, mostly 'cos it's a bit like shields (in that its a sort of weapon customisation thats out a lot) with the difference being VEATs have the option to effectively change Primaries and Secondaries (the only AT to be able to do so in game)
So, its no surprise that it has a few tech issues with it. -
I think I can correct my previous statement by saying;
I am addicted to Full Auto.
There's very few things as satisfying as standing there, cackling 'dakka dakka dakka!' while watching mobs fall down/explode. -
I'd give *all* the lesser used groups more game-time.
Let's see now;
Hellions
Skulls
Infected
Goldbrickers
Luddites
Hydra
Theres probably more. They all have a distinct backstory and all, but no real development. Who is Midas? What is it in the water that makes the Infected what they are? More development of Hydra, bar a never done trial run. Give the Skulls and Hellions some actual arcs?
That, and dont get me started on costume re-designs... -

Isn't this what the Valkyrie pack [Mission Transporter] does anyway..?

Less 'Helping the "Real" Heroes and Villains', and more *being* the big-bad/good. -
Quote:T'be fair, they never said it was a 'Natural Pack'. It was even called 'Martial Arts Pack'.i'd like to see a real natural pack FOR ONCE and not the ninja one that didn't count. some more stuff this related to real clothes like champions has (i hate that game just using it as an example) also more tights stuff that's not just boring patterns. Release that the same day as mutant since you wont be able to put a power in it probably. Ninja just doesnt cut it or fit everyone.
I'm sure they will get round to it sometime. -
Quote:BWAHAHAA!Right, becasue Mako is a furry.
Giving us beastly costume parts does not inevitably lead to EVERYONE using them to be a cute lil furry animal. What it does do, is enable us to make penguins and chickens and dogs and (grrrrr) cats look passable. We, as players, already make all of those, but they would look better if we had beaks and snouts and such.
Take your bias against your personal interpretation of what a "furry" is, and go yiff yourself.
Oh, and /signed.
Thank you! Yes! ^^^ So many times this!
And yeah, /signed
Because atm trying to make anything anthropomorphic that doesnt look like a werewolf out of a cheap B movie is kinda hard.
I'll use an example, my defender, Kitsune Vixen. She's a mutant who's family, somewhere in the past, wound up with actual dna from the mythical animal in its blood. She currently has a human face and body, but fox ears and fur. I *like* to finish it off with the tail but, hey, we're somewhat limited in options. -
I'm siding with 'The rate is silly'. It detracts from the fun.
Who loses from people having more leeway with Influence -> Prestige? Yes, it's an inf sink, and it doesn't have to stop being one. It'd be nice if it was one that people felt more obliged to look at, by getting something worthwhile back for it. Yes, they fixed the cost of bases a number of issues ago; that's because they were grossly broken except for the largest of SGs.
More fun = a good thing. I'd say make the exchange rate fairer. -
It really reaffirms my faith in humanity to see;
"Hey, we'll be nice and give you guys some free stuff while we work on GR!"
"....OMG DOOM! Wheres the catch, huh, huh? S'gonna be server merge, right? Right?!"
-
Trying to come up with an appropriate image for this...
Failing...
If you hear someone screaming 'SPARTA!' and kicking stuff in, don't mind me >_> -
So long as it has Build Up in the Secondary, it doesnt matter.
Built Up + Full Auto = dead stuff. No questions asked. The fact you can then layer on Flamer, M30 nade and buckshot if that doesnt work makes it a killer.
My advice would be to leavel Flamethrower until AFTER Stamina, though. And, for the love of god, get Stamina at 20. You'll be neutering yourself if you dont.
Personally I use AR/Ice (old concept that took a while to juggle) and that works well for locking things down and then gunning them down (Ice patch+ Ignite, Shiver + Any Cone, etc) -
I'd rather they did away with Enhancement levels overall.
Oh, look, you've gone up a level. You now need to get a new slot which is exactly the same as the old one which, because we say so, now doesn't work.
It'd also help if normal enhancements didnt cost so much. Unless you get real lucky with drops/have another character to finance you, there is no way you can afford to fully slot with DOs when they come around, or SOs at 22. It's immensely frustrating, and un-Fun. -
Quote:Myeah, I sign to that.So what you're saying is the reason the markets haven't merged is because some of the Devs are using the villainside market as their own personal mini-game? If that's what you're saying, I'm calling bull.
I tend to leave the market alone until level 50, or until I get a really nice drop.
If they merge it, great. If they don't, status quo.
