FIRST...where did I say that saying "rep doesn't matter" is harassing or foul-mouthed? Oh, that's right, cos I didn't. :P

There ARE people who have been HARASSED and cursed at in rep. YES, you can go to the mods saying "somebody said this and that", but having the names attached makes those people SO MUCH less likely to harass other people. And it makes it MUCH easier to report to the mods.

Because the hundreds of harassing, foul-mouthed negreps would get reported and the mods would slap the people who wrote them?

About 90% of my posts are in Player Questions and Tech Issues, where I assist people with problems and answer questions... yep, I post just because I can, not because it's helpful. Nope, I don't like being helpful at all. I've never helped those hundreds - probably thousands - of people. Nuh-uh.

Keep in mind that if you're not invited to closed beta, the test server is completely locked out now. You can't even look at character creation.

That doesn't matter. The people who chose to go to the tutorial, and then teleported out, were completely unable to utilize contacts until they successfully completed a safeguard and chose a new contact.

This doesn't allow that to happen. You're required to be level 3 to use the various zone ports, which just so happens to be above the level possible in the tutorial.

Uhh, there is. For the whole forum, click on "QUICK LINKS" (very top navigation) and select "Mark Forums Read." For a single forum, click on "Forum Tools" (top of the thread listing inside a forum) and select "Mark This Forum Read".

I did. I got it reset.

I used to share this account with my ex boyfriend. (Ooh, bad account sharing! Boo hiss! :P ) When we split up, I got access to it, but the forum account was his password, and I had been using Firefox's password storage to keep it because I was too lazy to change it. Well, my computer went belly-up and I had to build a new one. I no longer had Firefox's password storage to assist me, so I was locked out of the forum account.

I had a second account that was lapsed, so I came in here and PM'd Ex Libris (a former community mod type person, for the newbies) if she could reset my password. She said she couldn't, but she set my forum email address to the address on hand for the account. Which was perfectly acceptable, since I had updated the email address from his to mine.

Sometimes you just need to be a little creative. The forums mods have much more control over the forums than the game mods, which is to be expected.

"Dump" is a common phrase, especially in regards to information or data.

No, Aggelakis won't be updating her fix to use the correct view post image. That thing is way too tiny. And also, it doesn't work anyway because of the image I linked above - it looks awful.

This doesn't make any sense to me. I went back and edited this post of mine from 2006, so I'm not sure why you can't edit your first posts.

Unless, of course, you aren't the author of the first post, in which case I understand.

Yeah, I got a negative rep comment "thanks for feeding the trolls"...and it was in response to this post. I don't really understand it, but hey! Whatever floats yer boat.

What does it matter? There are plenty of people that I don't recall seeing post, and they have post count. Take a peek at the member list sometime. 95% of those names I don't recognize, and about 3/4 of them have at least one post.
