  2. hey guys looking for a build for a SS/Elec, i would like to be well rounded, tough and still do good damage,i had a build for this toon but my FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC Mid's decided it was a wonderful idea to erase my Build folder, anyway enough raging, i will post a new attempt at the build soon.

    the smashing and lethal increase was unintentional, it simply rose, i do have a KC but even that was for the melee not the S&L, i do like the other various leaderships but this toon will be slightly more offensive and i was already short on room for powers, they didnt make the cut. my current main is a SR and i dont use Aid self all that much as i have rebirth, but it is a nice "net" to fall back on
    (though i do think this toon may be slightly more survivable as it has atleast some RES)

  6. scrapperlock, this is why i make mostly scrappers, i love going lone and decimating EVERYTHING
    dont have a specific example but i love when all but you dies, and you finish off the mob and look like a boss

Though i respect your ability to not flip out THB ( i think i would have by now)at the constant opposition i also think you are extremely egocentric and need admit defeat, you remind me of Bill Oreilly you know you are wrong but you keep trying to shove your ideas down our throat ,sure enough your blaster is good, but cmon man give it up, youve been beat.

  12. It can be good or bad, simply depends on the character

ATM i dont have time to go through the whole build but i will later, my main a Fire/SR scrapper originally didnt have aid self, a day after i put that build in place i made him a new build with aid self, it is extremely usefull, i thought what you did, oh ill just get rebirth but trust me aid self is VERY usefull on a SR

    Really? This build isn't that different to the one I am playing at the moment. I am level 48 and even though I don't have +end procs in place yet, I don't seem to be having big issues with endurance. And when I do, that's where Consume comes in handy.
    -whenever i make a toon i Cant stand having my consumption over 1.00, you have almost 2.00 that is ALOT



    I'll leave grabbing ACUs' aggro to tankers and brutes, so I don't see this as a big issue

    these were just examples, but in anything mildy difficult you will find yourself dieing alot, the brutes and tanks arent always there to take the aggro, heck even on my blaster i get attacked, personally im embaressed if i ever die on a melee toon. .
    here is what i came up with, the consumption is still higher than i want but this should do great damage, i ran with your paramerters and did not take hasten (your gimping your self )or burn, this is fairly inexpensive and you should do very nice damage, here is it
    ( i would for sure get the cardiac alpha)

  16. i was thinking of remaking my fire/SR into a Staff/Sr, but im unsure of staff's capabilities compared to Fire melee, dps wise, and aoe, im not great at seeing how a set will perform with out actually physically playing it, tell me what you think

  18. i dont have alot fo time, but here are my suggestions/opinons

    1. this will not be a paticularly tough toon
    2. no hasten=crazy talk
    3. no burn=crazier talk
    4. the consumption of endurance compared to the recovery is really bad, youd be out of endurance in a few secs of fighting
    5. consider another epic pool, dark isnt all that great
    6. you will do okay against melee if you eat a luck, but a ranged energy enemy will rip you apart (ACUs for example, from most incarnate trials, or the beasts in the underground, toxic ranged, would tear you to shreds)

    if you want crazy aoe damage you for sure need burn, and hasten

    honestly i know very little about DA, all i know really is that it drains ALOT of endurance, all i know about DM is that it is seriously lacking in aoe damage and it can have very good ST DPS, it is also endurance heavy, so you most likely will have trouble with your endurance

    i usually play scrappers but i decided to retry my bane that has been shelf sitting, heres what i came up with, it appears to me that ive about reached god mode, without even gimping my attacks, quick question on defense
    If i have a foe that hits with melee smashing damage,
    he has a 5% chance to hit me due to his smashing damage
    he has a 5% chance to hit me due to his attack type being melee
    does he have to pass BOTH rolls to hit me?
    (Shatter is blank for ATo's)

    ( this may sound hostile but it is not intended) honestly i find mine is more well rounded than yours, here are the reasons why
    1. build up is way overslotted for only 2.5 % defense
    2. my recovery is actually higher than yours, remember to turn incarnate and accolades on, and i have lower consumption
    3 red fortune is not a very good set, i acheive the same thing with the 3 Lotg's as you do with 5 red's( and
    4. the regen procs rlly arent necesary anyway, this isnt a regen toon
    5. aid self is ridiculously overslotted
    6. stamina is over slotted
    7.not a regen toon, health is overslotted
    8. phys perfection is underslotted
    9. and agility is VERY good for a defense toon, dont need more recharge? you cant get enough recharge!, endurance modification is also very good
    and defense bonus is great aswell.
    10. my build has the same amount of recharge as yours but isnt gimped by red fortune, mine will have about 176% when i get the scrapper ATO, and thats the NON catalyst'd ones, the catalyst ones will give even more recharge.

    If you're gonna have to eat a small purple to softcap yourself anyway, you might as well lower melee and ranged, and make your attacks hurt more along with getting some bonuses to raise your accuracy a bit.

    Also, Hasten is overslotted by far. It's one thing to make Hasten perma, but if it's at the cost of your build, you will have to ask yourself if it's worth it.
    I was thinking the soft cap was 55, I will alter the build to 45%, add some purp damage procs
