  2. First step is to make sure your drivers are up to date. Check out the "Before You Post" thread in Tech Issues. In there are two programs: CoHHelper and HijackThis. Get those two programs, run them, and post their log results in a new thread in Tech Issues.
  3. I would PM Avatea on this, as we're not experts on the fine points of game's EULA (since you could essentially "bot" with speech-to-text software) and how it interacts with disabled persons.

I found one script here on userscripts.org, which the FireFox page for Greasemonkey links to. There are probably others as well.

I've not used this, and it has no comments/feedback on it, so I'd be careful to check out the script before using it.
That basically makes the forum look like shite. Thanks for the suggestion. I uninstalled it in a blessed hurry!

It's in the Guide to Guides under "Using the Official Forums". Modifying other people's signatures Greasemonkey script by Sharrow. It's so beautiful. *sniff sniff*

Clunky, I know, but it's how I strip horrible formatting from many different document formats. And, it's free and reliable.
Nah, way too much like work. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Because this is a forum, with posts to be read. I even attempt to read wall of text rants, to see if maybe something can be said to change the ranter's mind. I attempt to read all posts in every thread I open. Some of them are just too mangled to finish, but I attempt it anyway.

Thanks, but that is just as clunky as TMikey's suggestion. That makes the forums look positively awful, which looks worse than just seeing some neon colors or weird font face.

    Irony.

Aion is NCsoft. City is NCsoft. They're the same folks that supply us our newsletters...

...which, if you remember, we have huge issues with, too.

  12. I know there's a script that's been made that strips colors out of people's signatures. I use that and love it.

However, lately there has been an issue that's getting worse, with people using ridiculously tiny text (and not for sarcasm or "asides"), really bad fonts (including our rednames...stop doing that!), or really terrible color choices. For a recent example, this is NOT the worst offender I've seen. Just in case she edits it to more sane colors: that is a comment in neon green, followed by a parenthesized comment in neon blue, followed by a line of neon pink. (Note that I'm not making fun of her. Amerikatt can be adorable, but that was just...awful.)

Is there a script that strips/overwrites font size/face/color formatting from posts? Preferably one that I can turn on and off easily, since guides and such often include legitimate changing of font style.

(Yes, I know I am inviting trolls and wannabe-comedians to post in this thread with horrific formatting.)

That doesn't solve my problem with everyone ELSE who uses insane colors. Hence why I asked the populace in general. In fact, I think I'll start up an actual thread in General about it, wider audience out there.
  14. NCsoft didn't get hacked, it is legit. All the links go to the regular place that all the previous Aion newsletter links went to. And aside from an American-centric con mention and a program that may be NA-only, it's exactly the same email, with the same images (other than localisation), etc. Someone just really warrgarbled the French recipients.
  15. Hoppy birdies, two shoes! Hoppy birdies, two shoes! Hoppy birdies, EMpulse! Hoppy birdies, two shoes!
  16. Your base recovery is 1.67 endurance per second (eps). Adding 3.5% to that makes 1.72845 eps, or a boost of .05845 eps. Adding more to your maximum endurance increases your base endurance recovery.

Incidentally, you might want to look into Enhancement Diversification (you are wasting three slots in Stamina). Also, there are a ton of other sets that can improve recovery, not just Efficacy and Performance Shifter.
  17. I have now gotten the same newsletter that I got yesterday in English, just now in French. The layout is a little bit different (the English version has a "Refer a Friend" blurb section, and a Comic-Con blurb section, like the video) but otherwise basically the same.
  18. I said it before, and I'll say it again...ANY further information that can be displayed on the character select screen would be awesome.
  19. I got the Aion newsletter, but it was in English, from a legitimate source (the same source as all other Aion newsletters have been), and I am currently subscribed to Aion.

I would also pretty much say even without the armor, the Crab backpack is definitely not feminine. Nothing says butch more than four giant, laser-shooting, robot spider arms coming out of a pack on your back.

You've never gotten a non-Halloween costume on any of your villains? Cos that's the same room you go to, Gorgeous Glenda at 30, and Lovely Linda at 40. (The Facemaker, the level 20 slot, is halfway between the door and the back room, in the back hallway.)

There's more to the error than just the number string. Having the whole error message would be helpful.

Otherwise, it's some kind of application error. Not enough information to really give any specifics.

Vista is the bones of 7, but other than that, 7 is not Vista. 7 is Vista that has been fixed and added on to, meaning Vista is now subpar.
