Does this make Virtue "the Badgers' Server"?
Or just for badges that require us to cooperate and, you know, talk to each other?
-
Testing this latest patch on the Test Server during a stress test, I saw not one lick of lag during lag valley of the ITF. Not even during the nuking of a huge pile of Cims.

Quote:You're asking.I just wanted to hear some more opinions on this... Personally, I believe that *all* damage should be typed. I find it unfair that someone who invests a lot into a good build, both inf. wise and time wise, is just as likely to be one shotted by <super Incarnate NPC power> as someone who uses SO's. What some people would call challenging I would call cheating.
Because you want to hear.
And then state that untyped damage is *unfair*.
This means anyone who disagrees with you is now arguing for something that is *unfair* -- in your opinion.
So when anyone does take the opposing side, you immediately argue with them.
So much for wanting to hear.
It's not *unfair* and it's not *cheating* as much as you would like us all to cry out "unfair!" as we take up our pitchforks and storm Paragon Studios and make them change it so that Incarnate fights are as ridiculously easy as taking out Hopkins.
Hami Raids on Virtue can take as little as 10 minutes once Hami is spawned. Lambda has speed runs. BAF is a speed run. As much as people moan about Keyes, it gets done with people running around in all directions not knowing what they're doing.
And you want it to be easier?
Or you want it to be easier... for *you*?
When iTrials were introduced and people thought they were impossible to do (!), it was because those who liked to solo or practically solo content (run off on their own) found out they couldn't solo it... they needed a team. So, their real argument was against not being able to run off by themselves. Too bad. When working as a team, the iTrials are still trivially easy, even with untyped or undodgeable attacks. -

Quote:Not possible. You should read the links in a thread.Yeah I remember that thread. My guess is that Praetoria is on the island of Cap Au Diable/Port Oakes.

And since that post, the arc in First Ward seems to indicate it's not too far from New Orleans.Quote:Keyes Reactors had powered the entire East Coast of the U.S. at one time.
Hamidon came up through Mexico then Cole fought it off (more of a standstill). Praetoria was built over the spot Cole beat it back.
Praetoria is also built over a river which is an important transportation hub.
The homeless guy does rather specifically cement Praetoria in the former USA.
Marauder led gangs in the West and was summoned Eastward to Praetoria.
So... best indicators put it some where in the Southeast U.S. over a major river. Could be north of New Orleans on the Mississippi or any major river East of the Mississippi that empties into the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic. -

Ummm... how can you be level 50 and not have 3 million Clockwork Prince kills already?

Not to mention Defenders have +30% Damage soloing (20% with one teammate, 10% with two).
Nor that Defenders get the best Damage buff from Assault and many have a -30% resistance buff giving effective +30% Damage to their whole team as well as themselves. And more AoEs. This means a team of Defenders will start to out damage a team of Scrappers from second number one with the right powers.
IOW... there are *a lot* more parameters to consider than base and max damage to determine who's going to do the most damage. -
On the central Jersey Shore, I thought my coworker who was hunched over the computer with me picking out a song was rocking my chair with a swaying foot. I was about to tell him to stop when I noticed my monitor was also swaying.
Construction?
Wind?
Is this an earthquake?
Yeah, I think it's an earthquake.
Looks outside: Gentle breeze. Lamp posts swaying.
Yep, it's an earthquake.
Goes back to work. -
Titanic Weapons are perfect for Stalkers. They can *hide* behind them.
"Hey, was that railroad crossing sign here all along?" -
A freebie can win the contest but can't collect. Big deal. Where I'm from, we call them Rhode Islanders.

Just to add to the consideration:
Steam Punk jump pack and the GvE jump pack will make Hover go to the flyspeed cap. And with enough global recharge, you can cycle them nearly perma. -
This thread....

If this thread is deleted, I wonder if that means they'll stop retweeting about this game on the official CoH Tweet feed.

There was in my TiVo guide a new Who episode. But when I saw it was a "Monsters of Dr. Who" special, I deleted it. I hate clip shows.

Quote:Except Dubai gets messed up with all these international treaties stuff that protects them from bullies taking their stuff. (cf. Kuwait)Basically if one of these "floating libertarian countries" ever happens I imagine it'll be modeled like a miniature Dubai.

So, see? They're not *really* *freeeee*. -
Quote:Unless he's inheriting the Spectre's ability to go Ethereal. Then something else is going on... because no other enemy in the game that I know about will LITERALLY disappear mere moments after he is directly in front of me after travelling a very short distance. If I have him targetted, he has dropped off my target... even when I attempt to follow him. There is SOMETHING up with his ability to be located. I am not saying it is impossible (I have killed him 3+ times on various characters), but it IS much harder than any other enemy in the game (stealth or no).

This also means that if you're a Premium player, NEVER buy a server transfer.
Instead of paying $10 for a transfer, pay $15 for a month's sub, get the free server transfer and $5 worth of Paragon Points (400PP) plus a Reward Token plus a month's access to stuff you'd ordinarily have to pay for. -
Hospital workers stumped identifying an unknown species?
Fire them. Fire them all. You can't have people who are supposed to know basic science that stupid working in a hospital.
Not even one DNA sample? <shakes head sadly>
