Run the Synapse Task Force with a full team. Alternatively, hunt in Skyway City if you have to run solo.

Ummm... how can you be level 50 and not have 3 million Clockwork Prince kills already?

It's really kind of ridiculous for a L50 not to have the Clockwork badge long since. You don't even need to hunt for it; I never have. Between the Positron and Synapse TFs I've always had it right away.
And anyone who actually played the game would have known that. Just because I wrote a guide on PL'ing doesn't mean I always like it. :P
my main didnt get the badge for this till post lvl 50 but that was mostly due to him being villain and villains do very very little with clockwork lol

So how about not assuming what someone who has played the game should or shouldn't have. Because they very well may have played the game differently from you.
Bill is correct..dont go assuming people play the same as you. I have taken around 20 heroes to level 50, all playing through the game..and I think only one of them had that badge before 40.
Fact is, clocks are a tough mob type, so I know I avoid them in arcs and police scanner missions as a lowbie. Also, they are pretty rare above 20 (do they even go higher?) and it doesnt take all that low to get over 20 anyway.
Another point, running the low level tfs, as a lowbie..is something I basically never do. Those tfs (not counting the new posi..which I think has few clocks now) are painful enough without doing them as an unslotted under powered lowbie. I will stick to doing them at 50 thank you.
Above 30, I can think of only a few missions where a player could kill a lot of Princes. The psy clock king mission from tina, the psy clock mission from harvey, and seem to recall unai having one.
And...perez park, by the boat house is the best place to hunt them I find. Small area they spawn in, and can get teh badge in about 5 mins. They are lower lvls than sky too.

1) A villain can easily level up without running into more than a handful of Clockwork. Someone who side switches won't see them post 20.
2) Similarly a Praetorian is dumped in Talos and levels from there.
3) Perhaps more relevant, a Hero who goes to the Hollows, then to Faultline, then to Striga, then to Croatoa, would have encountered next to no Clockwork.
4) Someone who knows of the End Drain like MB said, and doesn't like it, can consciously avoid contacts, or scanners that involve Clockwork, and still level up in major Hero City zones.
5) Someone who solos primarily will almost never see clockwork bosses, and even if they sought them out in scanner missions, there would be at most 1 per mission that counted for the badge, on base settings.
So at the end of the day, I think what's ridiculous is not that someone doesn't have the badge, but that you think it's hard to get to 50 without getting it.
Not to mention, that your reponse is pretty classless for the normal helpful nature in this section of the forum.

It's really not surprising that someone hasn't gotten the Gear badge by the time they're level 50, for all the reasons Lemur Lad mentioned, plus the fact that if someone prefers to team up with higher leveled friends, they'll pretty quickly level past the Clockwork's rather short level range. I know a few of my level 50 characters either don't have the badge or only got it when I decided to run Synapse later. Since I tend to either solo or run on small teams as opposed to running task forces often, it's pretty easy to see why.
To answer the OP's question, I would recommend either checking out Perez Park by the boathouse (As previously mentioned) or the northern part of Boomtown. I would say the boathouse is probably the most reliable location, though.

This game is 7 years old with 7 years of additions. There's several ways to level up as a hero and almost never run into Clockwork. Especially if someone is new to the game and doesn't know about or skips TFs until later (or just doesn't like them). Let's riff and see what I can come up with:
7) Someone who doesn't do TF's or at least the low level TFs.

This reminds me of how much I hate the Synapse TF. Haven't done it for at least 3 years now, I intend to keep that streak going until the end of time (or until the TF is changed, anyway).
I am trying to get the kill 100 badge on my 50 fire/kin. Any advice on the best area to grind on Princes?
Thanks!
