This will be on the blu ray deleted scenes section but they have released it for us to view now. It's basically more of Banner after Hulk plowed through the building and was greeted by the security guard.

The only thing that could have made this scene cooler is if Bill Bixby had been alive to play to the security guard. Banner of the past chatting with Banner of the present.

Well, it does do a pretty good job in a minute of explaining why Banner came back and how he came back, which was a little bit of a plot hole in the movie. I wonder why it hit the cutting room floor?

I wish they kept that scene. The scenes with Banner were some of my favorite.

To save a few seconds most likely :/ Once movies get past two hour marks, theaters start whining. That's one less show they can fit in!

It's something we could easily fill in for our selves. It's not as if he was chained in the seventh plane of Tartarus.

I really should do something about this signature.

Because they needed material specifically intended to be "DVD bonus" scenes perhaps?

Like BrandX implied movies usually have huge amounts of footage edited down in order to make a better final product, even if the stuff that hits the editing room floor is great material. In this case while the extra screen time with Banner/Hulk is probably interesting to Hulk fans it would have slowed the movie down right at the point they wanted to ramp up the action leading to the final climactic end battle.

As PRAF68_EU said the "plot hole" that led to Banner showing up to fight really wasn't that jarring. Banner is a smart man and it can be assumed it was fairly easy for him to "borrow" transportation and scoot his way towards where all the aliens were destroying New York City. Besides that scene allowed Whedon to serve up a bit of a joke about the classic "cavalry to the rescue" meme where instead of a full brigade of horses we have instead a pathetic looking single guy riding a silly scooter to come in and save the proverbial day.

Half of Chris Nolan's hate mail must've been from movie theaters, then.

Looks like they all had a laugh doing it, I love Banners bit right at the end
That's awesome, and I agree with the Banner bit at the end.

LOL. Well, at least that knowledge came in handy at some point! The movie is showing its age, but I still find it a pretty good flick.
