Out of the relatively small group of people who read AC comics, I'm willing to be that only I and two RL friends in my SG got the joke. So here I am to share the reference I slipped into a script a while back.

So, it's now canon that in the AC Comics universe, there's a company called "Arcanaville Consulting", and company CEO is a woman who's got darn good statistical analysis skills. Not the first in-joke I've slipped into my comic book scripts, but the first one that someone who wasn't part of my old RPG campaigns would get.

Thanks for all you've done for the game, and all the entertaining posts I've read over the years, Arcanaville. This is my nerdy little respectful tip of the hat.

Neat! And thanks for all the volunteer statistical analysis you've done and input given on COH over the years, Arcanaville, you've definitely made COH a better game.

That is so awesome!

I'll see if I can work that in to a future script.
Since Marla "Humonga" Allison is a movie star / supervillainess, that should actually be pretty darn easy.

I think that is awesome. Just a reminder what an awesome community this game has.

How'd this go 7 days without comment?

Cool tip of the hat

Heh thats funny. I play World of Warcraft too and people made comics about my character there. I go by Ultimus and played an Undead Death Knight Tank. I am hailed as one of the best tanks on the server. For those that don't play, Death Knights have an attack Death Strike which heals yourself for a portion of your HP. I could time it right and become pretty much god mode in raids in combination with timing click powers correctly.

Needless to say people started referring to me as the "Chuck Norris" of WOW. Here are two comics someone made:

The 2nd comic was how healers were always so bored because they never had to heal me haha

It is of course completely fictional, as it depicts me actually returning phone calls.

I felt I needed to write in an element of the fantastic and completely implausible to really stretch the limits for the type of escapism people expect from comic books.

CoH now has its very own Kanye West.

Well, not always as much of an intellectual powerhouse, but close.

Anyway, awesome little reference there, Shagster. Samuraiko definitely deserves a reference as well.
