Overwhelming Force drop rates

I don't have a record of the number of each specific parts of the set I've received, but like most people, the only part I really care about (IE, am adverse to just buying on the market) is of course the knockdown-->Knockback Proc, and of the 21 runs I've recorded I've only revived the proc once.

If I can still hit it, I'm not getting enough xp!

Got the three procs at same time last night, dual-boxing and with a friend on board heh.

I've run the event 31 times. I have 4 full sets, most of another set (4), and 3 repeat IOs (Dam/End/Rech I believe).

So I've had a very even drop experience so far.

IT took me 30 Event runs before I landed my first proc.

Prices are really depressed on the set, minus the proc, in the market at the moment. Guess we'll see how they go after the event ends.

It will go higher actually...which is scary because the last time I checked it was at 250 mill now it's down to 100 mill...but I understand why. It's one of the best Proc in the history of the game...and a lot of people don't want to part with it.

Thought I had bad luck. Took me 16 runs to get it.

4 procs at least 36-38 runs

I found a chi-square calculator online and entered the same data set, but couldn't figure out how to get the expected values to enter as fractions, so I had to add one more value to get the total number of samples divisible by 6 so that I could enter '54' as the expected value for every drop.

Entering the extra drop in any category other than A/D/E produced a p-value of less than .005, whereas adding one to A/D/E resulted in a p-value of .007.

So a confidence level of over 99% in any case.

Note: I say this as someone who has run the SE at least a dozen times on three different toons, and haven't seen a single proc drop.

Ugh, Yeah...strangely enough after my first proc the numbers started to even out.

My numbers:

Acc/Dam - 7
Acc/Dam/End - 7
A/D/E/R - 4
Proc - 1
Dam/End/Rech - 1
End/Rech - 1

One proc in 21 runs so far.

Is someone compiling this info? Anyway, I did it 200 times and I'm done for the year. I've ground this one to dust, far more grinding than I've ever done before or will likely ever do again. My results are pretty even across the board:

Acc/Dmg = 33 = 16.5%
End/Rech = 37 = 18.5%
Acc/Dmg/End = 35 = 17.5%
Dmg/End/Rech = 32 = 16%
Acc/Dmg/End/Rech = 32 = 16%
Proc = 31 = 15.5%

200 runs? o_O

Good grief...

I just (?) went after all the badges on all 24 of my alts.

End result (total more than 24, because a couple of runs missed badges, so some alts got more than one drop. Well I wasn't going to run one without an OF drop, so they ran it again the following day )

Code:
Acc/Dam - 6
Acc/Dam/End - 2
Acc/Dam/End/Rech - 5
Dam/End/Rech - 3
End/Rech - 5
Proc - 7
Nothing in there that makes me think it's not fully random, especially given my tiny sample size.

I've stopped keeping tabs on it. This is the most I ever did an event but this IO means so much to me...how can one stop?

I feel like that is an overstatement... but... that might just be a knee-jerk reaction to such an absolute statement.

I would argue that PerfShifter or perhaps one of the Numi/Miracle Procs is better.

all of mine was acc/dam and Acc/Dmg/End
and one Acc/Dmg/End/Rech never seen the rest of them.

After while I just started deleting any acc/dam I got. and had to buy the rest.

Yeah, I know that by a lot of lunatics on this board, that's a tiny number of alts, but I've never really been one for altitis. And I play only on Union, so slots are limited (ish... I've got 36 slots available)

23 of them are 50, the other's at 45 currently. I tend to work on one character at a time, and I'm not letting myself roll any new toons until I get this one finished off, since she's been sat on the sidelines for a year and a half while I worked all my others up to +3 through trials.

So, in a week or three I may actually be able to play a Water Blast, Titan Weapon or Street Justice character and see what the fuss is about <grin> (bought the sets because I had the points, not tried them yet)

Oh yeah PerfShifter is definitely up there. I did say it's one of the best though. Especially if you're not a fan of KB in certain powers. Which some of us are not.

Has anyone compiled all the results from all the posters here? Many small samples can be compiled into a larger sample, as long as everyone's numbers are accurate.

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

I guess I've run my last blockbuster event, so I can report my findings. The RNG was fairly even-handed with my characters over 28 runs.

Acc/Dmg - 4
End/Rech - 4
Acc/Dmg/End - 7
Dmg/End/Rech - 3
Acc/Dmg/End/Rech - 5
Damage/Proc - 5

Number of my characters actually using the proc for knockdown - 1
My Warshade has it in Gravitic Emanation, and it is awesome.

Actually, my shock was about trying for the badges on that many toons. I have way more alts myself, but I only collect badges on *ONE*.

<shrug> you can get all the badges in one run if everyone knows what they're doing, two runs at the most.

The Summer Event badges were easy enough to get that getting them on all alts was just a matter of running the event on all my alts, twice at most.
