Will you regret the time you've spent playing?

That's not to say that if that's the most prominent thing you've got going on in your life that you wouldn't regret not sampling more of what life offers when you are at a point where you're no longer able to.
Believe it or not, this guy is married.

I met my wife on this game ohh those many years ago and anyone has the gall to ask me if I will regret my time in this game?

No. I will never regret meeting the person who changed my life around for the better and has made me happier than I have ever been.

No relation to Arachnos!

Part Pack: Now the majority of players know how we, PvPers, have felt for years now. Don't want to be so "civil" now that you have been completly ignored, do you?

I don't think there could be a better answer than this. I fully agree with Samuel Tow, without games my life would be full of stress, with games my life is just a few bumps in the road from time to time that some time putting my brain to work doing things that challenges it creatively to overcome obstacles helps to smooth out.
Can't say that sounds like a regret.

Thanks to everyone that helped make me a welcomed part of the community, and for giving me over 3 years of some of the best gaming I've been able to take part in. May the next game bring many friendships and maybe reconnect to some old CoH friends.

I've made some of my best friends on this game. I laughed, I cried, I irritated people, laughed some more, cried from laughing so hard. I play many other games but at the end of the day I'd come back to CoH again and again. People live life the way want to. I have my niche they have theirs.

Time...not really
Money...eh, I'm sure I could have spent the $15/mo on something that would make the body feel better

Games have provided me with countless hours of entertainment, stress relief (although screaming at FPSs might seem to indicate otherwise), camaraderie and friendship, and pure enjoyment of the medium (storytelling, graphics, sound and music). They have helped me get through hard times in my life, and have taught me things about myself and my happiness. I think I've got those top five regrets covered.

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

I thought the video had a faint whiff of rationalizing, but overall I'll agree with what is says, although I haven't had much friending in CoH. I alt way too much and the few SGs I've joined broke up soon after; on the other hand, it has allowed me to stay in contact with the good friend who introduced me to the game and now lives very far away.

All that aside, a number of times I have gotten into a PUG (my main way of playing) and had a real blast and often a good laugh.* The cost money-wise has been trivial compared to those moments.

Additionally, I've been able to expand my creativity via the MA system, and that's never a bad thing.

*One of the best I can recall: the PUG entered an office map and was facing down a horde of red and purple-con Tsoo standing just down the corridor, well within ranged-attack range, but just out of agro range. One or two of us were saying things like "egads..." "hoo boy" "uh oh" etc. The leader piped up, "Oh c'mon they can't be that fearsome; I mean, we're standing right here." Maybe you had to be there, but we all laughed and then proceeded to wipe the floor with them.

Never.

I started gaming at 3, I'm still gaming at 26, and I'll play games till I die. MMO's have given me friends from all over the world, friends that I have met in meatspace and even been bridesmaid for.

Countless hours of entertainment in hundreds of imaginative worlds and settings. And it's only getting better with the rise of indie PC gaming and modding.

Never. I started gaming when I was 12 and I'm now 41. It regularly infuriates me that certain quarters frown on any hobby that doesn't involve going Outside. If you enjoy your life, you're not wasting it.

I won't regret time spent on this game. That other game with the scheduled raids with sign up sheets that I scheduled things around, however, I do regret.

This game I can play at my leisure. If I don't make it to a server event I don't have to sit out the next one nor do I lose any DKP.
