If someone freeloaded, the other person in the pact has to work literally twice as hard to get XP. If you're using leveling pact as a way to PL, you're doing it wrong.

He didn't say that someone was power-leveling (though that might well be the case, power-leveling for someone else). He said that someone wasn't working for their reward.

I can kinda see where he's coming from. While I'm sure everyone here has the noblest of intentions, let's think for a moment. Who might want to offer to someone else the ability to be leveled without them having to do any work... How about RMTers? I mean, if I were an RMT company, it seems like a pretty good deal for me to be able to offer to someone the ability to be leveled to 50, and you don't even have to give me your account login information.

I hate to say it, but I've wondered for quite a while if level pacts were a good idea.

That having been said, if they can figure out some way to restore the feature, more power to 'em. I've never been in a level pact and probably never will, but I don't actively dislike them or anything.

Luckily threads cannot make you go bald. That would be a bold move by the OP to try and make such a thread though.

Threads may not be able to make you go bald, but assertions can, in fact, be bald - or baldly made, as the case may be. The term is most commonly applied in the context of hair, but it does have broader applications. In this case "baldly" would be synonymous with "openly".

Speaking of things that are annoying, does anyone else find it as irritating that NCSoft apparently wants you to go everywhere else BUT their official site to get news and information about upcoming features? I don't want to have to go Facebook, Twitter, or Google + - the news should be here, where it belongs.

Just don't push it too hard or the social media addicts will spam you with image macros. $DIETY forbid they use one of their unpaid interns to make up a text version of those way too long and undirected videos.

Unfortunately it's not just Paragon Studios that does this. Every MMO I've played almost never has the information you need on their site, (almost) always on some other 'fansite'.

What information specifically are you looking for that is not on the main site?

Yes. I don't mind having social media used to augment the main news site but not as the main news site. The 9 year old ruthless space game that some consider EVE-vil does an excellent job in this area.

The point was that the official site is "missing" information. I want to know what it's missing.

Anything that's in a UStream for one if you count only official sources and not fan submissions/transcriptions to these boards. The i23 preview on that funky powerpoint site is another.

I can't think of any games off the to of my head that have that kind of info on their Main/Official websites.

And BPPhantom was referring to news info, I believe.
