What awesome things have you done?

So what awesome things have you done with your toon?

For me, my crowning moment of awesome was fighting off 2 Paladins and winnng, just before a third came walking over and I beat him too. I did have to use Lore pets and the odd dagger :P But it felt awesome.

How about you guys?

I have soloed Giant Monsters without temporary powers, pets or inspirations! I have soloed two level 54 AV's at the same time under the same conditions.

With the same character, I have soloed 54x8 Malta and Carnies, as well as power leveling friends faster than any other high end farming sets, all on the same build!

This character has also soloed entire bunkers on the Keyes trial, collecting every temporary power and returning to the bunker to do it again!

Finally, and yes I'm still talking about the same character- I regularly provide mass AOE confusion, even against level 54x8 enemies! I even permanently floor the regeneration of hard single targets, single handedly. These feats increase the efficiency and survivability of not only myself, but entire teams and leagues also!

So what am I, you ask!? At first you might think a Scrapper. Next, maybe a Brute...? No. no. He solos AV's and GM's, he doesn't just farm. He must be a Defender or Corruptor! What else could accomplish such single target feats under these conditions!? But that can't be right! How could a Defender or Corruptor farm faster than a Brute!?

Hmmm...

What could this character possibly be!? It seems like all the most high end, awesome attributes of character performance rolled into ONE SINGLE BUILD!

Well I'll tell you what it is.

It's a freaking BLASTER!

The Master Archetype, the Blaster.

More potential and less preconceived credibility than anything else in the game! And yet, the Blaster overcomes!

I tanked tower-buffed Lord Recluse. On a Fire/Fire/Pyre Blaster.

Took the same blaster through the DA arc at x8.

Most recent... Watched my three teammates fall at the portal mission of Sutter's TF. There's like eighty something dudes hanging around in the portal... My MA/SR scrapper turns on blender mode and just starts wading through them all. I eventually have to pop Elude, manage to bring down all but a handful, and still ran away to Assemble the fallen out of harm's way before it drops. I was asking after, "Can I feel like a badass? I think I should be feeling like a badass. Because that was pretty badass."

Admittedly, this is the character that somehow managed to do the same on the Envoy at AV level back in the day, and barely managed to solo an AV Tyrant.

This was one of the funnest times I have had in game.
The Charlie's Angels pose, the FF Def successfully getting caught in the air mid-leap for the cutscene, ignoring everything except the green and yellow towers and Recluse, a good shot of Rise of the Phoenix. So silly, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Soloed ITF and tanked STF with DB/WP Scrapper! \o/

Piss people off on the forums when I mention my Petless DS Trap MM. ... Always seems to stir up a fight. Reality every time play a toon I start to gravitate toward petless MM more and more for the challenge. I have so many toons that can solo 4/8 even in DA its boring. I even have a AR Device that solos 4/8 in DA but I do 3/8 for the speed factor of it. I have no Trip mines in the build btw. Basic Range Cap hover blaster. Have 16 seconds recharge on Full Auto.

But Petless DS Traps has defeated a Pylon and fought some Hero which is equivalent AV correct ?. Just don't recall the AV it was on +1 setting I think. Have screen shots. I figured I should document some of this stuff in case I get called out on it. Even it can solo 4/8. Admittedly not as fast as the rest but its pretty cool to me do things with such a gimpy toon.

Number 2 awesome thing I did because I didn't know better.

When incarnates first came out I fought both Heroes at the same time in that Rikti mission solo on 4/8. The only reason I did is because I just never took the time to read the other 2 settings on the mission settings contact. I was so pissed afterwards because I made a comment in Atlas about how my other toons were not gonna be able to do it solo against 2 AVs / Heroes and someone said to me about disabling no AVs and bosses. I almost tossed my computer out the window. End result since that contact came out and those settings came out it took me until the incarnates to know about them. I need to stop skimming through stuff sometimes ..

Somebody please look up and link to my scrapperlock thread. It's in this section of the forums, but search is mighty wonky on this phone...

Anyway, that thread has many accounts of good old fashioned fun and awesome from all sorts of players. It's not the soloing GMs or MoTFs without inspirations kind of things. It's a level 26 scrapper going on an inspiration binge with way too many things to kill kind of things.

Defeated a whole spawn of Romans during the ITF by throwing them off a bridge. Wacky fun...

+4x8 ITF Solo. I'll probably do the same with my defender some day. Just because.

Actually, there was also the time my Night Widow and my VG-mate's DB/EA stalker solo'd the eye of Leviathan while the rest of the party was faceplanted. I'm still surprised that we somehow managed to pull that off.
