leagues is less pay2win than this game. You can get everything in LoL INGAME through grindan (at least when I played). Not in CoX.

I have personally made more money on Praxis selling the Inner Inspiration large ones at the Market than I did off any of my enhancements. And post-40 where only SO drops, those drop so infrequently and are worth so little the extra inventory space is little more than a QoL change.

An XP booster, however, 2.5 levels of Patrol XP, and because of how that works, it ends up being even longer. That's aves a considerable amount of time and helps not rerun the same arcs over and over and ******* over again on my 40+ characters.

I'm not saying enhancement inventory increases are bad. I'm saying they're not $15 good and they're certainly not $20 good.
I respectfully disagree Sam. The perishable boosters can only be used on a single character. Even if they have multiple charges that's way too expensive for me. If I want to level faster I can easily run DFB's, DiB's, Raids, TF's, etc.

The Enhancement Tray is an account wide unlock. So on my account where I have over 300 slots unlocked that permanent tray averages to roughly .05 cents per character. So if I have the points I'm gonna grab that.

It's a personal preference, of course, but I'm with Sam. I don't have much use for 10 or 20 more enhancement tray slots, because the enhancements that drop from mob defeats are almost not worth selling - certainly not so much that I care if my tray fills up - and I don't respec enough to care about the difference between pulling out 10 vs 30 IO's at a time. So for me, what little use I get out of a double xp booster used in conjunction with other fast-leveling methods that you mentioned is more useful than those extra tray slots.

Edit to add: However, now that I see that the Recipe Inventory is also on sale, THAT I might get. Because I *do* care when my recipe inventory fills up, and it tends to happen a lot.

The biggest benefit of a larger enh tray has nothing to do with drops. It comes when it's time to respec, to either hold more to put on your new build, or take more off, or just to sell back for full value IOs that you'll never use and aren't worth selling in the AH.

The larger tray is worth it to me, but then I've done field crafter on one character and am in the process of doing it on another. I also move enhs from one character to another fairly often. YMMV, I just enjoy doing it.

There's something about agreeing with Forbin that makes me nervous, but wth.

There are lots of ways to level quickly in the game, but there's only *this* way
to get more than 10 items out of a respec, and for someone like me who Frankenslots
toons early, and occasionally respecs them later, an account-wide item like
this has quite a bit of appeal.

It's also pretty handy for "crafting factory" marketing toons (of which I have a
couple), and it synergizes nicely with the Portable Crafting table accolade as well.

I'll be checking my points when I get home tonight - I think they might just
eke a sale out of me for these.

I understand completely. I hope I didn't imply there was anything wrong your's and Sam's preferences, I just wanted to share a different perspective.

Don't worry if it makes you feel better you can disagree with me on everything else I post.

They could nerf the hecatomb proc down to one PPM and it would still be far better than a normal hecatomb proc in knockout blow.
Which only points out why some of us are confused why they change the SBE to a PPM system that is not the exact same for the crafted twin in the game. That kind of inconsistency makes no sense from the planning stage as the change to P shifter post release and cash receipt shows.

They needed to be the exact same no bones about it.

I just wanted the whole set and its bonuses, I don't really give a damn about the proc's frequency.

That's cool but there is a much deeper point being made here, you recognizing it or caring about it aside.

I wasn't wholly clear. Making it better than the in-game version is a really bad choice. I'm just lucky I had another goal in mind.

Finally bought points! I knew that eventually they'd put something worth buying on sale! I got all ten salvage inventory increases plus two recipe increases and I'm totally naked inside my underwear right now!

But I was wondering; what's the difference between purchasing several individual x10 salvage inventory items (there's 10 listed, like 1 of 10, 2 of 10, etc), and just buying one but increasing the quantity in the shopping cart? Is it the same thing? And for that matter, is 10 the maximum amount we can buy? Because I got all ten and it looks like the market will sell me more.

There are actually ten different items, and you can only buy each one only once. You can put them in your basket again, but you'll get an error at the checkout.

I assume it's because the market can manage to cope with items you can buy any number of, and items you can only buy once, but isn't able to handle limiting an account to buying ten of one type of item.

We've known since Going Rogue launched that account bound enhancements cannot be stored in base storage.

(Going Rogue Pre-Order thru Gamestop first introduced account bound enhancements to the game.)

This is what happens when someone on the dev team decides to save a couple of bucks and buy a market feature from a third party instead of developing a market interface specifically for this game.

I agree. I bought the 5 character server slots for 1200 and then next week it went down to 800 points for 5 slots...

So..yeah...I still think 1200 points for 10 enhancements is a bit much so...I'll wait and hope they go down by 50%.

If they get halved, I'll buy at least one...maybe two (depending on how many free points I have saved up at the time).

I got the first enhancement tray upgrade with my monthly pp. So my characters just gained ten enhancement spaces at no extra cost to me. Sounds good! If they discount it further, I might even get the second upgrade...800pp would be mighty tempting.

Then I spent money on PP for the first time since Freedom dropped, and got four recipe upgrades (5 slots for $5, each)...that's a dollar a slot, spread across a hundred characters...ridiculously good deal.

And now I have more PP left over than I know what to do with. Once they go on sale, I might even think about getting SJ and TW.
