Pocket D Valentine Pack

To the developers,
Regarding the Pocket D Valentine Pack, I kindly ask if it would be at all possible to re-release it in the Paragon Market. Sadly I did not realize that the costume pieces were only for a limited time. When I did get the points available, sadly they were no longer there for purchase. I think a lot of the pieces are just so fantastic to only have it for a brief period of the entire year.

Please consider having it available all year round and re-releasing even if it's under another name. I would so happily appreciate it.
Thank you for you time and consideration to this request.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't realize that it was for a limited time when they clearly advertised that it was only available from February 7 to March 6, 2012. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your point of view it will be released again, next year.

This is one of the holiday event packs that will only be released on the holiday it was made for. It would defeat the purpose of making Holiday Event Packs if they released them all year round.

Good luck on your request tho, maybe they'll reconsider.

The Pocket D 'Valentine' Pack had absolutely naff all to do with Valentines. It was a party or disco pack, sure, but 'valentines'? Only the time of year it was released.

/Signed, that pack for sure should be available all year. Real holiday event packs, like the Winter one, I can understand. But this one is just stupid.

If they have to, make it more expensive the rest of the year by like 100pp. Then they can even advertise a "SALE!" during the Valentine's event. Sales make people excited.

Yeah I would have much preferred to see them offer the Toga stuff but they put out the Roman pack instead which I wanted more.

Not to sound cynical but since buying the pieces seperately cost over 1000 points I doubt we'd see the pack offered for only 100 points more if it was offered the rest of the year. More likely at least 800 points.

I take full responsibility of the mistake on my part. It's just the pieces were so fantastic, I didn't expect it to be only for Valentine's day.

I really appreciate it.

I do admit, that's what shocked me about it when I went back into the market. I can understand with the snow boots, gloves and the sort. It was all Christmas/Snow related.
I do understand as well if it pack had hearts/valentine's/love related . . . but it's awesome hair styles, jeans, and more!

I know many people would love to have this pack or it's pieces and it would be something that would also add to sales through out the year! I know I'm not the only one who had made such a silly mistake.

Either way. I appreciate the consideration!
And again devs, thank you for everything you do!

Yeah, I was really disappointed when I came back to the game to find that this option was gone. I saw the hair options when I was still a VIP subscriber on beta, but didn't realize it was going to be part of a time limited set. I had to cancel my sub for a few months after I was let go, so I couldn't really afford to buy anything. When I came back and tried to load up the costume I'd made, it wouldn't let me, and it wasn't in the market.

Hopefully it makes a reappearance soon. It's one of the options I was really looking forward to! I want to spend money, Paragon, you just won't let me! :P

I also missed it! I didnt realize it had anything to do with Valentines day and thought it was a party pack.

I was saving up my points and bam it was gone. I am glad it will probly be back next year but wouldnt mind if it reappeared before then.

It's a really nice set. I already have it but it's too nice not to share and it'd be nice to see more people using it so i support having it back in the store all year around.

While I knew the pack was limited time (I bought it) was it a Valentine's Day pack? I thought it was the Pocket D Party Pack. It never felt like a valentine's day pack to me.

No they actually called it the Pocket D Valentines Pack. Here's Beastyles Announcement

Even in an interdimensional nightclub made for heroes and villains, a spandex suit just isn't proper club attire. Those tights, spiked shoulder pads, and winged boots might be fine when you're saving the city or hatching nefarious schemes, but you'll be turning heads for all the wrong reasons if that's what you wear to Pocket D. Plus, those spiked shoulder pads? Total dance floor hazard.

Luckily, the Paragon Market has you covered with the new Pocket D Valentines Pack! This pack contains 14 brand new costume pieces, guaranteed to make you stand out. The Pocket D Valentines Pack also comes with a Pocket D VIP Pass Teleporter, and 2 dance emotes so you can show off your new threads in style! But you'll need to hurry: these fashions are only available until March 6, 2012!

Contents of the Pocket D Valentine's Pack:
• 40 Paragon Points - Pocket D - Metallic Top (Female)
• 40 Paragon Points - Pocket D - Metallic Skirt (Female)
• 40 Paragon Points - Pocket D - Leather Studded Belt (Male, Female, Huge)
• 40 Paragon Points - Pocket D - Strapped Heels (Female)
• 40 Paragon Points - Pocket D - Casual Dress Shirt (Male, Female, Huge)
• 20 Paragon Points - Pocket D - Casual Dress Shirt Sleeves (Male, Female, Huge)
• 60 Paragon Points - Pocket D - Quilted Jacket (Male, Female, Huge)
• 20 Paragon Points - Pocket D - Quilted Sleeves (Male, Female, Huge)
• 20 Paragon Points - Pocket D - Loose Tie - Chest Details (Male, Female, Huge)

• 40 Paragon Points - Disco Dance Emote
• 40 Paragon Points - Robot Dance Emote
• 500 Paragon Points - Pocket D VIP Pass Teleporter Power

Total a la Carte price: 1060 Paragon Points
Bundle price: 400 Paragon Points
660 Paragon Points savings!

(I added the bolding and color to highlight the name of the pack)

What may have confused people was that the previous week they advertised the Roman pack thusly.

Cupid's bow shoots straight to the heart of romance in this costume bundle of Roman-inspired pieces! Like the Roman empire, this 23-piece set won't last forever--it's available in the Paragon Market until February 29, 2012!

100% agreed. This was either a Marketing or Business Management failure. Either way, they need to drop the "Valentine" from the name and have it available all year round.

Calling it a "Valentine's Pack" doesn't make it, in any shape or form, associated with Valentines.

I'm not the one that made that decision. If I had a say in the matter a Valentines Pack would have consisted of:

Toga
Sandals
that head piece thingy
a Belt with Hearts on it
Cupid's Bow
a Give Flowers Emote
a Give Heart shaped box of Chocolates Emote
a White Doves costume change (as opposed to the black ravens we got during Halloween)
a Cupid non combat pet that shoots arrows at other players/NPC's which cause an Aura of Red Hearts to appear on them for 1 minute.
a Red/Pink Hearts Aura (no other colors allowed)

The whole way they went about the valentine costume pack still baffles me.

The pocket D valentine pack strikes me as something that would be a good seller all year round. I don't understand why they choose to make that one the limited time valentine pack, instead of doing something similar to the end of year event packs. They should've put the toga and sandals and stuff, bundle it with that new cupid bow and add an emote or two and a flavor power, like a cupid pet or some bow and arrow temp and call that the pack. Would've picked it up in a heartbeat. Going through Snaptooth every year 4 times per new character got old years ago.

See... that makes sense... Which is why it wasn't done.

Also, I'd think that changing the Hearts Aura to allow all colors would be better... After all there are Black Hearts and Blue hearts as well. A "flower burst" costume change emote would work too.

Finally, "that head piece thingy" is called the victory laurel.

Clubbing is usually more focused on dating than drinking is

You read my statement backwards. Clubbing as just as related to dating as it is to drinking. Therefore, if we get a clubbing-themed costume for a dating-centric holiday, it makes no less sense to get that clubbing-themed costume for a drinking-centric holiday.

A "Valentines Pack" should include a cherubic Cupid vanity pet.

Clubbing doesn't exactly go with "romance" however. If clubbing does equal romance to you, then I feel sorry for you.
