i wish i could attend, but im still going to school atm and dont have that kind of money to just fly out there for 2 days, hopefully in the future ill be able to attend these when im out of school and stuff

I'm already committed to working at a Renfaire that weekend, and even so I never seem to have enough expendable cash to afford a trip and hotel around that time of year (right between two SCA wars).
So I'd really appreciate if someone who attends the powerset workshop would push for a munitions based control set (net guns and flash bang grenades and such, predominantly using existing NPC weapons like grenade and rocket launchers that aren't otherwise available to PCs) so that controllers can have something that doesn't always look so much like spellcasting.
Dear NCsoft, if you go through with this shutdown you've guaranteed you'll not see another dime from me on any project you put out, ever.

Well I am a typical tech buyer, I will buy what gives the most performance for the $. I am certainly willing to pay a few extra dollars for better quailty components if it means reduced risk of hardware failure. I have 0 brand loyalty if something comes along that offers better value for the $.

As much as it interests me to read other people's travel arrangements, might I suggest an official thread "Make Your Case HERE -- Zone Revamp" as a way of letting NON-attendees of the Player Summit to have a voice in the discussion re: Suggestions for Revamped Zones?
I don't have an idea to pitch, but sure would be curious to see what OTHER PEOPLE might come up with, even if they CAN'T attend the Player Summit in California next month...
Two hundred words max, would be keeping in the spirit of making a public presentation...

I haven't spoken to anyone else about meal plans yet, aside from my going to Schaub's for lunch of Friday for a Fred's Steak sandwich.
Given the time limitation for lunch on Saturday, I'll probably try to find something much closer to the hotel instead of making that long drive and fighting traffic (including looking for a parking spot).
I'm considering Holder's Country Inn for Breakfast, but I'm waiting to hear from Red-Gren and others about Saturday breakfast plans.
Even if I don't get to Holder's on Saturday, I'll get there Sunday. I'm not leaving until Sunday evening so I could even make a trip into San Francisco on Sunday for lunch. I know that there are a few good places to eat at Pier 39, and I've gotten a hankering for a bucket of donuts.
EDIT: Of course, since Zwiggleroom has mentioned the possibility of something on Friday night, it's keeping my Friday evening plans up in the air a bit until we get word on what he's planning.

For those of you contacting the hotel for rooms, tell them it is for the City of Heroes Player Summit for the group rate. The desk clerk was having trouble determining the group code for that rate until I mentioned City of Heroes. Paragon Studios and NCSoft were not found when she was looking for the rate.
It looks like it is the same discount we got in November of the Garden Room (1 bed) being $99/night (regularly $109) and the Deluxe Room (1 or 2 beds) being $109/night (regularly $119).

I'll be doing the red eye drive very early on Saturday, I'll just need to know where.
I wanted to make Holder's last time but I was just too tired to get up early on Sunday.

Red_Gren is the real foodie and makes the meal plans for the Justice people.
I'm just one of the limiting factors in his decision making.
He's the one that took me to Schaub's and introduced me to the delights of the Fred's Steak Sandwich.
He's the one that took me to Holder's Country Inn and introduced me to their heavenly Bacon Waffles.
He's (unfortunately) the one that has convinced me to try other establishments attempts at making a Bacon Waffle (none come anywhere close to Holder's, some are barely Waffles or barely contain Bacon).

On the page it says San Diego.
Either way, San Diego or Las Vegas is much too long of a drive for me to make a breakfast run when I'm in the Bay Area. Even worse when I'm home in Texas.

And the waffle... it completely fills a dinner plate, is about an inch (or more) thick and has long thick strips of bacon baked in... These guys don't fool around, their portions are huge.
But I understand travel restrictions, and I would love to try Holder's offering...

After much deliberation, I'm booked.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
Unable to make this one, hope you guys keep doing this for years to come. Hopefully i'll make the 2014 one. This year and next will be busy trying to fix up the house me and my mother bought(might make a thread with more info shearing the good news later).
