Need more info.
With insps or without? With level shifts or without? With temp powers or without?
If with everything, my main could probably solo her. (Well, before I started stripping his IOs.) He took down a lvl 54 Marauder the other day.

she seems to be a different beast in her story arc compared to the one in Kahn TF. Tougher.
At lvl 50 she can solo but at lvl 54 cant dent her and she hits for over 2000 hp.

I'm quite confident most ATs can be built in some way or another to withstand Vanessa for a few minutes. I'm not as confident that any of the builds I'm currently using could do so, but for instance, my scrappers that don't have psi holes could probably handle it.

Yeah... I would have prolly killed her in 5 mins with my ill/cold.
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Can the Yor AT go 5 minutes?
And since no brute or scrapper gets pterodactyl hang-gliding in the secondary, we know he's not one of the existing ATs.
I don't think my favorite tank could kill her... He just doesn't do that much damage on his own... But just standing there and putting up with her attacks for five minutes? Probably.
He kept the Kronos Titan occupied on his own for about that long once upon a time, waiting for FCM to switch characters when we decided to duo the thing.

just tried merely tanking her. At lvl 54 she debuffs my defense to minus numbers. My dark heals rarely hit her

Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?
Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?
With a good player, all of my fourteen Archetypes can certainly go five minutes against her.

Sure. A lot of them have placate or smoke bomb, so when I start the fight I just do that and she loses interest.
