Current active characters: Dragon Maiden (50+3 Brute SS/WP/PM), Black Widow Maiden (50+1 Night Widow), Catayclasmic Ariel (50 lvl Defender - Kin/DP), Quantumshock (50 lvl Elect/Energy/Energy), American's Defender (38 lvl Tanker - SD/Mace), Spider-Maiden (15 lvl Corruptor - RB/PD) & Siren Shrike (15 lvl Defender - Sonic/Sonic). My entire stable.
I wish the energizer bunny was a CoX AT. Then whoever picked it would definitely go at least 5 minutes with V.

My main archetype that I play is a dominator, and I work their builds to give permanent domination. My main in a mind/ permadom, so yes. In fact, she could be put to sleep within seconds. For defeating her Mind/Psi has endless regeneration, endurance, and enough mag to constantly hold thorough triangles, the only limit for lasting would be on me as a player punching buttons. That said, she wouldn't die incredibly quickly, I build for control, not as much the offense front.
It amazes me how undervalued control is. While there is an arms race between players beefing up their character and devs making enemies that can bypass/overpower those strengths with nasty powers, control that is high enough invalidates almost every nasty power an enemy can use.

I've actually tanked all five AV's in the Kahn TF at 54 while the team took out Reichsman... it's common for us to simply stay on him while the tank hauls in all the addon AV's as they release and holds them together with Reichsman. Vanessa is generally not a big problem; while she's Psi she also doesn't hit all that hard and my natural regen and the occasional dull pain or green pill takes care of what gets through my defenses.
That's with CMA, my Inv/Stone tanker. I'm softcapped to S/L/E/N and I've ~25% Melee/Ranged as a byproduct to help mitigate Psi damage. I've done the same with my Shield/Fire tanker and I do need more caution against all 5 AV's but it's doable particularly if I have some team buffage.
I don't think there's an AT in the game that doesn't have a powerset/build combination that can't survive her for 5 minutes, particularly if inspirations and/or outside buffs are allowed. Name an AT and someone's probably come up with a build that's durable enough for the job.

On my Dark/Fire tank ... taunt Reichmann, smack Vanessa, AoE other AV's, repeat.
Vanessa's done before anyone really notices she was there.

I was wondering what the big deal was.
I normally have a preference for guys, but I'd be willing to try..
Am I expected to actually fight her, or does running in circles trying not to get hit count?
In either case, I might be in trouble.

AT? Uh, possibly. Individual characters? er... maybe not? My ice/mace tank (if he was lev 50) would have a lot of trouble lasting five minutes vs any psi AV/GM. Heck, 4 psi damage minions make Micro Madness cry.

No expiration, XP and Influence bonuses (or penalties, if you're on the receiving end), complete target debilitation, and difficult to reverse.

As a predominantly solo player, I don't run TF's much.
Is there a way to test my toon's mettle against L54 Vanessa DeVore in an equivalent
solo mission of some sort (ie. Ouros, AE, etc.)???
He has fun with Pylons, and can tank some GM's indefinitely (Scrappy, Lusca,
for instance), so I'd be curious to actually see how he does against the Carny tart.
