There's usually, or at least very often, server maintenance on Tuesday and Thursday at 7 AM Eastern Time.

humm, they added one on Tuesdays now? I thought it was just a Thur. thing, oh well.
Still, it would be nice for someone to confirm that this won't be an extended downtime.
Actually, server maintenance is usually only on Thursdays. The servers being down on Tuesday usually means a publish - although it is quite strange they didn't announce it (as far as I can see).

My 5 years (on and off) with this game has shown time and time again that they are really slow/bad at keeping the community informed on downtime issues, it only takes a few seconds to write a post if this was scheduled or not, again a few seconds, so it is not like it's going to make the downtime last longer.
I wonder if its related to the TPN issue?
Last night i was on that trial and got "kicked" to the load screen of the game. Each time i tried to log back in on that same character it said "Kicked: error code.."
After eventually getting back on I see the whole league got booted with some people complaining that this wasn't the first time.
Just a note, I have a new comp that never lags and I never drop from anything so I'm guessing something is up.

Maybe someday they'll have some sort of cool new technology in place -- things like internet access from home, or maybe some sort of "smart cell phone" so they could access the internet while they're stuck in traffic or in the line at the drive-through getting their morning caffeine!
...wait, home internet access was sort of obscure in the early 90's, but in 2004 when the game launched?! And how many people overall have "voice-only" cell phones nowadays, let alone those people in tech businesses?
Seriously, how hard can it be to slap together (or copy and paste) a post about server maintenance?
Regarding that defective Server Status page, they should either fix it (unlikely) or simply just do away with it completely. As it stands, it's like a broken analog clock that still manages to be right twice a day.

Which is fine if it is, just somewhat mislabeled. My guess is that it's easier to publish to or something. I'm not sure if Test has ever been fully fixed with regard to the store and account data post-Freedom.
