Who's getting Titan Weapons?
I'm not.
I think it's cool and all, I have no problems with it. I just want to get Staff Fighting more. Plus I'm not really up for spending points on stuff I'll never use.
I'll wait until it goes on sale. I have a couple good concepts for TW characters, but both require costume options that we don't have--a butcher's apron, and a horse (preferably zebra) head.
Main Hero: Chad Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1396 Badges
Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges
Mission Architect arcs: Doctor Brainstorm's An Experiment Gone Awry, Arc ID 2093

I'll probably get it the second it goes live.
Maybe when tanks get Energy Aura or something. There are so many attack types and not enough armor types I hate to double up on stuff if I don't have to.

@Inquisitor
I'm getting it opening day, but I buy everything except really dumb stuff like the German Shepard pet.
Agua Man lvl 48 Water/Electric Blaster

"To die hating NCSoft for shutting down City of Heroes, that was Freedom."

I'll be getting it when it comes out. I'm planning on rolling a dark/titan weapons tank and a titan weapons/regen brute.

Just curious on who's looking forward to Titan Weapons when they go live? I never got a chance to try them on Beta, so anyone out there that tried it out and just didn't like it? I've been watching it and one possible complaint I'd have is the attacks don't look like they connect. Saw one vid where someone was beating the snot out of some Council and they barely flinched. I don't want to buy a giant rocket hammer that doesn't feel like a giant rocket hammer when I hit stuff with it.

My only beef with the set is the windup (well, and I'm not partial to the tier 9 animation, but the rest are awesome). It makes sense and it's a unique mechanic, but it doesn't match up with my playstyle as much. Keep in mind that you don't have slow windups much of the time, since you can chain about three attacks with Momentum going, and the set's build up power lets you earn Momentum just by activating it.
If you like the idea of the set, you'll probably like it.

Willpower went pretty well with Titan Weapons, but I'm not sure I want to use the set again or not.

What video were you watching? The Titan Weapons animations are pretty dang massive, and do lots of KD that makes it look like you are making a big dent (and the damage numbers are good as well). It has a lot of AOE, so you should be able to increase the number of enemies you need pretty well and take care of them easily.

ill prolly get titan weapons, but with the news of the recently planned titan weapons pack to make us pay for 4 additional weapon options its kinda sickening
plus i need more secondaries to play it with

That's pretty poor, though, I have to say. I'm rather disappointed they didn't fit in at least a weapon or two with the Barbarian set, since these two were so close in release time. I'm okay with a weapon or two being in a set, but that many in one pack is too much of a money grub.

Woah... what's the source on the extra pack for more weapon options? Can't see it in the dev digest anywhere... at least not in the two pages worth of Noble Savage comments I can see. Yikes.

Later on, and honestly I'm going to say because of the immediately bad backlash, Zwillwhatever says
"As an incentive for early adoption of the new Power Set our plan is to offer Titan Weapons -and- Weapon Packs: Titan Weapons #1 as a bundle for 800 Paragon Points for the first two weeks of sales. After two weeks, the Weapon Pack will be off the Market for awhile and then reintroduced at it's normal price. "
Too much for me IMO
I've already forgotten about most of you

Ill pick it up but I am not in any hurry. I think this is a result of a couple things...
I tend to enjoy playing my blasters, corruptors, controllers ect more these days and now that I am doing the whole incarnate trial thing I like them even more. I am not that thrilled with the lambda trial and refer the BAF .. on the BAF anything with ranged attacks, pets, holds, etc has a much easier time on the dreaded escapee phase. Tanks, Brutes and Scrappers run like monkeys trying to help out as best they can while my blasters stands in one spot and out damages them.
Also I played with TW on beta and it is a good set but they need more weaon choices... In my mind titan weapons look like something either handed down to us by the gods or stolen from them while they werent looking. Okay I like the axe they had and the sword but then it went kind of down hill for me.. I just cant see the all powerful Zeus, for example, running around swinging a railroad crossing sign he yanked out of the ground or Odin attacking with a steel pole that has a lump of concrete on one end LOL
Also I tend to enjoy anything that looks like martial arts so I am very anxious to see staff weapons. The REALLY BIG sword is okay but I am not dying to own it.

I'll probably go ahead and buy it, but I should really be working on leveling existing characters instead of rolling new ones. My 50's are all t4'ed on incarnate stuff so I need to get another character up to 50 soon.
