I've not commented on the store implementation and the related reward tracking systems too much, but that's because what more you can say but that those systems suck. When I think about what you're supposed to do instead of what's actually happening, as a professional I'm half embarrassed, half furious. So I try not to think about it too much.
I still think I could do a better job in PHP in a weekend. And I'm not just talking about the in-game store, either.

These assessments of the systems add to the sense of wonder about why we were given what we were given.
Was it just poor performance?
Is there some method or ulterior motive to the madness?
****-up before conspiracy, of course. But, one can't help but see the potential of the problems to milk the cash of the impatient. And seeing that, there's a certain compulsion to wonder if the problems are wai. I don't have access to any sales data of course. But I expect and suspect that a number of transactions occurred which may not have occurred if players had gotten their points and tokens closer to launch of Freedom.
This answers "cui bono?" but doesn't tell us if it's appropriate to ask that question.
The apparently different answers that been provided by staff to identical questions from players adds to a vague sense of suspicion of the company on the part of the players.
eg Do they know what they're going to do about these things? Why can't they communicate their plan internally well enough that it can be communicated externally? Are these things happening on purpose? etc
Idk what will happen on the part of the company nor on the part of the players. However, I suspect that the outcomes are not going to be as optimal as they could be. They may even end up being a net negative. idk.

My billing date is the 30th of each month. September 30th saw no gains of anything and I chalked that up to what they said about September's stuff being awarded early. I got a transfer token somewhere at the beginning of October. Then a few days ago I got my VIP stipend. I am hoping that by October 30th i'll see a reward token.
But seriously everything really should happen on the same day. And personally I believe that day should be the day they charge for your sub. They way it works right now is migraine inducing.

If it's any consolation, I applied for a phone support supervisor position with "x" company back in late August, in anticipation of losing my job at Borders. I get the job, and it turns out they 'over hired' for the position and cancel the 5-week training class I was due to be in. Those classes have typically 15 people, and there were two previous training classes before mine. Lo and behold, over the past month almost a dozen people have quit, were fired, or just became no-call, no-shows and I'm re-hired for a new training class because they're losing call guys left and right. It's not NCSoft I'm joining, but I can just imagine the headache Freedom is for both the customer service and customers(still waiting on my first token.)

The earliest estimate is the 28th. I think, but forget why, that October tokens won't be awarded until November. I expect mine on Nov 1.

If we're supposed to get them a the END of our sub period, I should have got one on the 5th for September, right? Because I didn't get one in September... and then I should get my October one on November 5th.
This system is really wonky. Not to mention broken, but even if it was working right it would kinda suck.

I am waiting on the free transfer because I have someone who needs it...
Seems like I've had the same experience as several others. On 10/15 my support ticket was closed with the GM who the original was escalated to saying that I should be receiving the token within a few days (my bill date, and old vet reward date was between the 6th and the 8th). I gave it a week and opened a new one this afternoon. No reply yet, but we'll see what happens when it does.
I'm currently at 34 tokens, and that is correct other than the one I should have been awarded by now.

1 for a retail box
1 for my first Paragon Points purchase
1 for a 12 dollar purchase
6 for each full year of subscription (curse that year break I took)
24 for 72 months of vet rewards running up until September.
Whether it's awarded now or the 28th isn't a big deal, like others I'd just like to know when I can expect them. Without that understanding I can't know that something isn't wrong, and have no choice but to open a support ticket.

Randomly got one over the weekend. That would be in line with my original reward date, the one I was told that had changed. Still unclear on whether I was supposed to earn one some time in September.

May...maybe they fixed the issue with it being at the end of the cycle and the reward system went "oops these accounts are behind"....
My husband and I both got one this weekend, it isn't our sub date and we're still one behind, but hey! At least there's one!
FCM and I both got one last night... My date was on the 19th. His isn't until the 28th.
I... don't get the timing. It's bizarre. But at least Cardinal can have his wings now.
