I thought that was because it was a family...so of course the last name is propagated downwards.
I could be wrong though...
Edit: I'm thinking of that story arc where you're saving the WSPDR radio "spy" lady's family...mom, dad and brother I think it was....

I've seen a lot of repeating names between unrelated characters, but I think the most prominent ones have been mentioned. Thing is, one writer doesn't necessarily know all the names of all the other characters in the game, so a lot of more famous names get repeated without any real connection.

To be on the safe side, we should probably move all the workers in Sharkhead over to that dimension, so they can do a little Cole mining.

I think from now on, I'll name all the characters in my MA arcs "Jeff".
Ahem....If you take the letters in Ernesto and shift them around, then change them into number, multiply the numbers by 8, break them down into binary and recode as Hex, then shuffle all non-numbers before combining the numbers and translating into Alpha you get the following:

While doing Agent G's arc for the first time in about a year last night, I opened up Captain Castillo's bio and learned (or relearned, if I'd seen it before and forgotten) that his full name is Ernesto Castillo.
This leaves us with at least three notable characters named "Ernesto":
Ernesto Hess- Council traitor and contact for a task force on Striga Isle
Ernesto Rodriguez- Black Scorpion's real name
Ernesto Castillo- Captain Castillo of the Sky Raiders
To my knowledge, "Ernesto" is the only name that's repeated across several characters like this. Why, I wonder, is "Ernesto" such a common name in City of Heroes-land? And are there any additional Ernestos I have missed?
