Time to retire TOs?

Pfft n00b!

Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?

Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?

I get that the wearing out of enhancements was supposed to be an inf sync, but it's not like people won't replace a +10% with a +15% when they get a chance anyway. Your'e correct, stores should just sell unexpiring enhancements that do not involve crafting. The end.

While we're at it, can we remove the origin requirement from SOs as well, so any origin character can use any SO enhancement?
Or, instead of getting rid of the origin requirement, at least ditch the blueside quests at the 35+ SO level, and revamp the stores where you can sort by enhancement function rather than having to look at them by color because of the wonky origin naming.

Seriously, simply revamping the UI of enhancement stores to a two pane window identical to the enhancements option at the ticket vendor in AE would be a godsend.

Edit: Guess I shoulda read the thread before posting this, so basically, just consider myself signed to the renaming and/or redesigning vendor idea posted by others. Also, I like Xanatos' simplification concept, to be honest: Simple TOs, Complex (but optional) IOs.

If that's too annoying for you, sorry.
My character has 19 cyber hearts - the enhancement system has nothing to do with roleplaying. It's just stupid names tacked onto a mediocre mechanic.

Am I the only one who loves the naming of the DOs/SOs? I think they're really imaginative and allow people to more easily achieve a suspension of disbelief.
Additionally if you're advocating for the removal of everything but IOs then there obviously does need to be an alternative for F2P/Premium.

Sure, until you realize that you're strapping multiple grenades to your Katana...

I laughed out loud. Still do when I reread this.

I agree with most of what others are saying. I delete all TOs. Leveling is so fast that its not work the effort to slot in the lower levels.

Same here. I don't use TOs at all. I don't even use =enhancements= at all (except for the new freebie ones) until level 12, when I buy all DOs.

But sign me up for the idea of being able to tell what the enhancements are without having to "Info" them to make sure I'm buying what I want. I =get= the idea behind the origins, but geez.

But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

Then the "fix" would be including a (accuracy) tag next to "Insight of Grey" or "Crowley's Ring" or have a tooltip popup if you pause over them with the mouse.

It took me a while to recognize that all single aspect enhancements are the same color for the aspect they enhance (yellow = accuracy; green=health) and that they are in alphabetical order based on what they enhance so accuracy is always first in the list.

Don't get rid of DOs; I like how I can tape grenades to my katana and make it do more damage.

Actually I'd prefer we just had "enhancements" that were a universal thing. TOs with SO strength, from 1-50. Get rid of the way too many stores, get rid of the having way too many items, get rid of getting drops that do what you want but you can't equip. All damage enhancements should be equippable by everyone and be the same strength.

What about the higher levels?

This thread prompted me to check the market for high-level Training Origin Enhancements, but the one level 53 damage I found is too rich for my blood.

I intended for that build to be somewhat usable, but I'm willing to slot it as if TOs were SOs (so it looks prettier instead of everything being six-slotted with the same thing) if folks can get me some level 53s. I'd like to indulge my TOE fetish - er, I mean, become a living museum. Before Training Origin Enhancements become extinct.
