I wish I could skip claiming crap like prestige powers (as you said, messing my powers screen), vanity pets and more.
Also, Im somewhere between tier 7 and 8.
And, I dying to have Celestial armor!!
But also I cant pay that amount of money to get to Tier 9.

Less Rant and more Reasonable Review would make a much more Pleasurable Process for all. I see that Techbot is frustrated and irritated that he wouldn't be able to get all of his tokens up front, but he's not mad as hell about it. At least, he's not coming across that way. You might want to think about that. |

Honestly, I'm not too pressed about a costume set, no matter how cool it is.
I'd have to drop over $100 to get it today, and nothing in a video game will EVER be worth $100 to me. If I'm still here in 2 years, maybe I'll get the costume set then.
It won't be the first time that I wasn't one of the first people to get something, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Didn't see the announcement until this morning. I have to say it sucks, I just purchased a multi-month subscription plan again last week, based on the information that we would be gaining the tokens up front. To have this held until the day before release is a terrible decision, by whoever made it (marketing I'm guessing, milk it til the last day). If I had known this would NOT be what went live, I would have continued a monthly subscription, instead of paying enough to finish out Tier 8 and get the armor choices in the VIP Tier 9.
Very disappointed.
many people are disappointed, but based on ZWill's post, he didn't know till this past Friday.
I don't beta test, so I have no idea how the new Paragon Rewards program works. Reading up on it on the forums and the wiki makes it sound like a very complicated and confusing system.
All I know is that I'm an 87-month veteran and my subscription is paid through until next spring. If there's any tier of rewards that I can't get with the points already coming to me, then something is wrong with the system. I'll evaluate it tonight when I get home. (Or more likely tomorrow when the patch has finished downloading.)

You guys have been telling us for MONTHS that the tokens would be awarded ahead of time and I know I'm not the only one who went ahead and picked up an annual renewal based on those claims. I just know I am going to be messed up. My account got all screwy when they did things to the accounts before. It gave me many vet rewards that I technically did not earn.
I did buy an account back in the mists of early time, but I have only paid for a certain stretch of time. Somehow I know that the fault to my favor last time , will fault to my real status this time. -sigh-
That will be the only whining I do about it -waves good bye to wings-.
