They look like a modified Witch thigh-high to me.

Barbarians don't look a thing like that anyways, esp. the female one, so I'm fine with it. I am looking forward to that belt, it loooks like a modified female Steampunk belt and I cant wait to get my hands on it.

Would also like an option to have the corset NOT have a furry top. More corsets are always needed.

who's standing at the podium in those photos?

are the barbarians wearing new boots or are those just the standard rough leather boots we already have?

do you think the fur on the upper arm of the female is part of the chest piece or do you think the fur is a new shoulder option?

They're boots. They're designed exactly like the Witch boots but with fur instead of bats.

And all I can do is /em facepalm over them. Seriously art team, what the hell?

Not a whole lot of awesome info from the panel. Nothing that got me super excited. No release date, no mention of Titan Weapons/Staff Fighting. Haunted mansion looks nice but it's a shame it will be a seasonal thing. Backpack was a bit meh for being one of the surprise announcements and they only showed one. Dunno, just overall no real awesome info.

Also, I didn't really get a straight answer on my question about proliferating rifle weapon models to all rifle sets (could i please just get the vanguard rifle on my crab spider???) I guess the one happy news was Posi confirming that he does plan on making incarnate level settings on existing TFs but he said he wanted to wait for incarnates to be fleshed out a bit more.

Still, kudos to Paragon for being so great to their community.

yes because this plus everything else we've heard about i21 is skimpy and worth complaining about.

Seriously. Drop the entitlement.

I wish zoom and enhance worked like it does on CSI

The Ring Strap the guy on the left is wearing looks like an updated version of the 8-bit Ring Strap we already have in game.

Hopefully it's free and not 40 points to purchase in the Market.

This.

Once more, the female characters get totally non-concept-appropriate skimpy/girly costume pieces. I'm guessing that girls don't get access to the loincloth piece? Instead, we get another corset, another skirt, and another set of thigh highs - as a BARBARIAN set?

Seriously, I'm annoyed.

Dear devs:

The extra options are welcome. Thank you.

Now, can we talk about actual, Incarnate-related "regular content" to drop these rewards more than once a week? Perhaps bump the content shown to an Empyrian once a week and put Incarnate-Solo/Small Team-Content arc at an astral? Something that's not dropping at a rate that's still discouraging once you do the math (versus "Grind trials, muahahahah!")

And can we talk again about how silly it is to spend rewards for running Incarnate content on being able to emote being out of breath and/or falling over exhausted?

Thanks.

I'm holding off any irked-ness (since I actually have a few characters who could use some of the pieces) until I see the full piece listing. I do agree the loincloth on females would be welcome.

Of course, they may be putting the thigh-highs there because we can get the "Santa boots/gloves" via the winter event. (It'd be nice to be able to turn ccanes in for those more often.)

(Also... can we get that outside peak without the fur? Please?)

LOL. internets.

Anyway, its not about entitlements. Usually we hear great updates from PAX. sneak peeks at upcoming issues. There was talk on this weeks Live Stream about power sets they couldnt talk about then. Was hoping they coulda talked about it at PAX. Nothing wrong with HOPING for more. And nothing wrong with being disappointed with the lack of news/updates.

Seriously. Drop the attitude.

EDIT:
To Doughboy: Thanks man for the live update. it was greatly appreciated!

Teeko, your assessment is right on the money. When the "Questions/Answers" slide popped up at the end of the presentation I was a bit confused. I thought, surely, there would be more to it than that. Sadly, I thought wrong.

I lol'd cause it's lolworthy.

I pray that's not the solo path they meant we were getting.

What the heck were you expecting this close to the release of issue 21?

As others said before PAX, this close to release I didn't expect anything significant to be announced. After Issue 21 releases? Sure.

They've never said that there was going to be a solo path

I've seen great ideas (and had a few ideas here and there of my own) for solo/small team Incarnate content - content fully worthy of (and at some point requiring - like, say, some doesn't become available until, for instance, Judgement is slotted) Incarnate status and powers.

We've got an insane godlike entity in the Shard who hasn't seen much love in years, for instance.

We've got a pantheon of banished gods that probably should be dealt with (which would also, oh, help with the lack of content in DA. Explore the backstory in the lower levels, go in to finally deal with it as empowered Incarnates.)

I'd love to see these things.

What do I *expect?* Exactly this sort of thing as a "solo" path. (And more zones being smashed and removed from the game.) Honestly, I think someone's probably irked that Keyes is generally... oh... not run. And they want us to "Grind trials, peons, bwahahahaha! Grind for your threads!" after all.

Excuse me, a VIABLE small teams path.

And actually if these arcs can be run solo (I assume they can just like every other STORY ARC in the freaking game can) then YES, THIS IS a solo-ish path.

One EMP every 7 days. THAT would have been cool and could be used to actually CRAFT SOMETHING. 4 or ten threads? No.

To put this in perspective, I can run the weekly WST and get MORE threads than running my team through a signature story arc.

I'd choose the 4x merits rewards every time. At least with that the next TF I run I can rack up merits to be able to buy ALIGNMENT MERITS. More chance at big rolls in Fort Trident, that can be used to make inf, to IO out a character.

Sorry GG, but those rewards an unimpressive. (Minus the merits reward).

EDIT: With that said nothing is stopping them from upping the rewards during the actual beta for this. So moving into a wait and see mode. Ohmmmm, Ohhmmm, Ohmmmm.

Uhhh yes, they pretty much did. Or they wouldn't investigate/look into something they never had any intention of doing.

Our devs aren't dumb or words lawyers. Unlike some people who post inanity that I know.

EDIT: And I notice you didn't address anything else I posted. Sooooo done discussing anything serious with you.

They've investigated other things and decided not to do them

Also, with the spread of the new style trials to non-Incanrate content like the new sewer one and the planned holiday trials, they're conditioning players to be comfortable with the LFG and TUT stuff right from level 1 - all the new players coming in with I21 won't know anything else.

Just wanted to point out that we haven't had clarified my earlier question - if the weekly reward timer is for *each* arc (as opposed to any arc), then the volume of weekly rewards will increase as time goes on. By the end of the "Who Will Die?" arc, you'd be able to get that reward table 8 times a week, not just once. It all comes down to whether they treat the arcs like seperate TFs, or a bundle of WST's that you can choose one from.

Because that's just what everyone needs.

To do raids and nothing else.

No thanks.

Call me when they start generating real content again.

No one will be doing raids all the time - but the way they're adidng low level non-Incarnate trials will help get everyone used to the way they work - the firs Incarnate Trials were a bit bumpy at first as they were something new to the game - but now that they're becoming as established as TFs, that won't be a problem anymore.
