Where's Wall-E?
Looking at websites for 1950s movie robots is turning up a lot of them. I've seen this picture a lot, which is obviously #12, but I haven't found its name or origin yet.

Ah. Number 7 is Chani from The Devil Girl From Mars.
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be
-- The Fox and the Hound
And number 5 is Robot John from Planeta Bur, apparently. Both it and Chani were very familiar to me, but they must be from movies watched late night in the dim recesses of my forgotten youth.

139 is Sam the Robot from Sesame Street. I didn't even know they had robots on the Street.

#5 almost looks like John the Robot from VOYAGE TO THE PREHISTORIC PLANET, but it's not quite the same. Maybe they repurposed him from (or for) another movie. Found him here.

Heh, I just noticed Kamelion, from not-quite-as-old-timey-as-the-Quarks Doctor Who, at #86. It was relatively rare for him to actually look like that.
171 would be Louie's foot from Silent Running
my girlfriend thinks #57 is a Cylon... ya know, before they went all skin toned and copying people.
After a quick google search, i think shes right.
Also #116 is the robot from the Droid phones, the smiley one you see all the time on commercials.
oh, and #130 is Serge from Caprica
My girlfriend's making me edit this post every time she finds a new robot. I love her so much and all her nerdy-ness.
Added.

On a whim I looked up Quark just now and sure enough, there's Andy the robot at #41.

Couple of notes:
1. The version of K9 shown at #128 is actually K9 Mark 2 from the recent K9 spinoff TV series, and never appeared on Doctor Who (though he is supposed to be the same character as the original DW K9 - he's "regenerated").
2. The robot at #81 is driving me crazy, because I'm sure I know it but I can't remember where from or what it's called.
3) Technically the droid at #45 is a "battle droid", not one meant for security. If you want to be really specific (and of course this is science fiction fandom so you do ), it's a Trade Federation B1 battle droid.
4) Similarly, just as a matter of labeling, #180's name is M-O.
5) To paraphrase Harlan Ellison, I have nits and I must pick.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
