143 - S.A.M.A.N.T.H.A. from Telebugs. - I used to love watching that show
65 - Horde bot from She-Ra - one of Hordak's flying drones.
127 - Robot Boy - from the cartoon of the same name
154 - Sergeant Bash, Robot Wars - amazingly got his name right at random
Oh hey, that is Sgt. Bash. Awesome.
111 is the robot from the Green Cross Code PSAs with Dave Prowse. I can't remember its name, though, if indeed it had one. |
Why does it not include Astro Boy, Mega Man, and Chrono Trigger's Robo?
49 is NOT Metal Mickey. I'm not sure who that is, but 49 is one of Asimov's "Cutie" robots...

71 is the robot named "Necron 99" who gets named "Peace" after he loses his taste for war, from the cartoon Wizards.
37 is "Crichton" from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. The tv show.
121 is named "Robot" from Heavy Metal the movie. (the first one, not that crappy second one) He is voiced by John Candy in the segment "So Beautiful And So Dangerous".
150 is Henry Hoover The Vacum Cleaner. No really...

177 is the dog robot from Astro Boy. Really surprised he wasn't in there but his dog was?!

No. 117 looks like 'Dick Spanner' an old Gerry Anderson stop motion series
Okay, all these have been added.
I also added some last night: Teletubbies, Wallace & Gromit, the Chuck Jones robots, etc.
It doesn't say they all are robots so why people are complaining about them all not being robots is beyond me. Is Wall-E a robot? Yes. Does that mean everything else in the picture HAS to be a robot? No. Calm down. It's a great illustration.
I *knew* a Heartbeeps robot had to be in there! Sure enough, 159. I was expecting either Bernadette Peters or Andy Kaufmann. Well played, sir.
Oh, duh. The malfunctioning robot from Zathura (directed by Jon Favreau) is #28. Looked right at it a half-dozen times before realizing it.
5 & 7 are really bugging me.
44 QT1 - Out of the Unknown
I had to research it a bit, they reused the costume in a classic Doctor Who story The Mind Robber, which is where I recognised it from. They modified is slightly for Who, painted it white and added some electronics to the front. Didn't remember where the original costume came from though, and now I've found out!
