Are the Snaptooth/Lady Winter missions available?

Hi Rosaquartz!
Unfortunately, they are not. The Ski Slopes are available, but the Winter event is not active. You may run into a few abominable snowmen on the slopes though!

Got the Trucker badge on my shiny new level 50 brute (did I mention how much I love double XP weekends?) but still can't ski worth a lick on the slopes. I've got the bronze medal on both courses and and am unlikely to do much better.

Unfortunately the slopes seem to be bugged; times are only being recorded in .5s increments, rather than the .01 they were before

You see, Sunday night I logged on my MM and pulled up the mission tab to see what I had (been 2 months away).
To my surprise I saw the defeat Snaptooth mission, so I went to pocket D to see if I could still do the mission. Sure enough I could...
I thought it was a bug and just went about running tips. When I saw this thread I thought "Aha!' that's why I was able to run the mission...
Now I'm confused again, is this a bug and I shouldn't be able to do it or is it just because I never completed it during the event?

Was the snaptooth mission the valentine's day one? That one you can run all year down as long as have DJ as a contact.
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

All they do is remove the contact so you can't take new missions but if you have one I'd believe you could still run it (multiple times if you are careful not to complete it). The store is still there too so if you have left over candy canes you can still buy the goodies.
No wonder a single candy cane is being sold for over 2 million.
Cancel the kitchen scraps for widows and lepers, no more merciful beheadings and call off christmas!

It would be nice if there were ways to earn new (ie not on the market) candy canes to take full advantage of the slopes being open.
Last I checked there were only about 200 candy canes left on the market.
I mean, you can talk to DJ Zero year 'round if you have the Snaptooth mission in your que, why can't Father Time take a break from doing whatever it is he does in the off seasons to give out a few missions?

We're pleased to announce that we have an answer to the warm weather you've been experiencing lately! The Ski Chalet has been opened in Pocket D! It will remain open until August 28th, at 11:59pm PDT (02:59am EDT; 07:59 BST; 08:59 CEST on August 29th), so you should have plenty of time for your vacation on the slopes! Bring your coats, because Pocket D just got frosty!
