And THIS attitude is exactly why Companies think they can get away with more and more these days. Because someone will always say "we're just paying them - they don't owe use anything for that money or anything."
They don't give us Dxp to be NICE they do it because they know it's good BUSINESS.
That said - I would be happy if they just extended us for the exact amount of time we're down for maintenance.

Hey if something broke, something broke. Better they go and fix it rather than leaving it to rot amd casue more problems. So take a break, get some food, maybe bio or even a quick jaunt outside.

Maybe they found a Exploit in the Double xp System, So they took it offline for maintenance. Also it might have too do with Issue 21 or patching up the bugs that already in the game. We are all title to our Secrets and I think if it a life and death matter they would told us why they took the server down.

What seemed like a big deal 40 minutes ago, is really seeming less interesting by the moment. Double XP or not, I think I'm done for the day. Between the constant mapserving and freeze/crashing, I've pretty much had my fill of this for today.
But, by all means, please keep the discussion going as it is rather entertaining to see who actually makes sense, and who is barking mad (spoiler alert: that means most of you folks XD).
Sorry, everyone! This is totally *my* fault. I wandered into the Server Room and saw all those cute hamsters in their cages and felt obligated to liberate them.
