Storage for Sale - Who's going to buy?

I like the added enhancement trays..

1. lower level toons can now accumulate up to 30 before heading to the store to sell them off for funds I want to buy the stuff I really need.

2. I don't respec often but having the ability to save 30 IO enhancers I crafted but may not need after a respec means I can either sell them at WW for a lot more than NC soft os offering or add them to the storage bins in my base so other character I own, or other SG members, can use them.

3. as already mentioned when crafting this means a lot less stops to either slot or store

For many of the same reasons I like the idea of added slots to salvage and recipes.

1. I am not a huge markteer but I will test the waters with unwanted salvage or recipes. If they aren't selling for what i KNOW I can get at a store i simply sell them at the store instead but having more slots means less trips to get rid of stuff which = more time playing the game!

2. Same as number 3 above.. if I can hold more desired salvage and recipes I don't need to stop to craft as often and don't have to wonder if i missed a chance for a PURPLE because my slots were full. I TRY to never just delete anything when I can sell it.

I can't see myself wasting any points on added vault space and I have my bases set up so the vault sits right beside the crafting table IN the same room as the enhancememnt bins. keep in mind I currently have 36 characters on virtue and my very first purchase will be 12 added slots for more characters. With the ability to email myslef just about anything these days I already have a HUGE vault system in place and with 12 more characters available, per server, it just got even larger. Sure its not as easy when you need to log one toon off and another one to get something but I'll be buying new powers, ect before I worry about adding space to my vault.

As for market slots.. I imagine the marketeers will love it but I am like the OP.. if it doesn't sell NOW I pull it, reduce the price a bit a try again. If its obvious it wont sell period.. it gets pulled and sold in a store.

and no longer works in missions or bases. They may not spend dev time to fix it with all the other issues too.

Coming from a player like myself I'm always in a panic ( that might not be the best choice of wording ) that I might sell something off that I might want for another toon I am considering making because I am not such a big market player persay like yourself. So I save salvage for a rainy day. EG when ceramic armor is selling for 50k when it used to be 111 a week ago. To me I feel that is my sort of luck. The minute I sell it I will need it back and what I sold for 1 INF now I need to pay 10 million for. Sadly for me I have been on that end of the rope 3 or 4 times with this market.

I get the game mechanics and read up on that stuff but the market is a bit of a stranger for me. Personally if I could combine IOs to make others and never be near the market I would be easier for me and I would be a happier person game wise.

So my whole point is for someone like you who has a clue its apparent that you can make 200 million in a few days. To me I was selling generic damage IOs for 300k not noticing it cost me 490k just to make them so I was taking a loss on making them, again it shows how retarded I was not too long ago. Matter of fact you could probably search my name for that exact thread I posted as a warning to newer players.

For me with 2 solo bases just made for storage I am filled to the gills with salvage and premade IOs. Completely maxed out. I guess I'm a hoarder in game.

All purchases are account-wide.
Vault storage is now 400 points/$5 for 5 slots, still with a max of 6. I've updated the OP to reflect this. All other prices remain unchanged, making me think they may be happy with these price points. I certainly hope not - I'd like to see them lower.

EDIT: I just noticed, Recipes have been increased to a max of 10 bundles, but they're still 800 points for a bundle of 5.

Seriously? they're happy with these prices? I won't ever buy them at these prices.

Currently it costs $70 bucks to pull all the enhancements off of a single build ($210 bucks for all three builds), and we have players that burn thru respecs like they were meth addicts. That one time purchase of $40. for two enhancement trays forever cuts that price in half.

And if they are VIP's it won't cost them a penny to buy because they can save up and only spend the free points they get with their subscription. We'll be getting 1200-1600 points when Freedom launches, That's one tray right there.

More purchasable fixes for problems they put in the game ? I thought the enhancement unslotters were someones bad joke. 2 bucks a pop because people aren't very cautious when playing a game ??

But this is way over the top.

And neither is a good fix for the respec system which really needs to be more freeform. Maybe that will be available once they think enough people have bought additional trays.

Expect sales and promotions.

Vault storage: I virtually never touch the vault.

I don't even save salvage in my base, it seems a waste of time to me. I can store 30 pieces of salvage worth thousands of influence (or a couple million in the case of rare salvage), for which I need 2-5 pieces each to craft my IO, or I can store 100 fully complete IOs worth millions each... I just don't get base salvage storage at all. When I need salvage, I buy it from the market or from AE.
I use base storage strongly throughout my alts. All of my alts are in my SG and it is my closet.

13 racks for common and uncommon salvage
1 rack for rare salvage
2 for enhancements racks split between 10-25/30-50
1 for halloween salvage
1 vault

when I level or get a random drop of rare salvage or even unload my 9999 AE tickets into salvage, I run back to my base and dump my stash into my racks.

I dont want to effectly go to the BM everytime I want to slot or craft.

What the devs need to add either in store or in game is a storage for recipies and to increase the base storage capacity.

The only ones I'd even consider are the enhancement trays and market slots, both to increase my potential influence gains (and/or decrease losses).

@Draeth Darkstar
Virtue [Heroes, Roleplay], Freedom [Villains], Exalted [All Sides, Roleplay]
Code:
I24 Proc Chance = (Enhanced Recharge + Activation Time) * (Current PPM * 1.25) / 60*(1 + .75*(.15*Radius - 0.011*Radius*(360-Arc)/30))
Single Target Radius = 0. AoE Non-Cone Arc = 360.

well i know ill be getting the enhancement slots simply to be able to craft and hold onto a set of enhancements without having to put them in my build before i get the set done especially if im replacing a set or something. didnt even think about the respec thing.

then probably market for me, then recipes considering i dont even fill my recipe bag up right now really before i go sell stuff. salvage and vault space would be last imo.

none of this is really needed for me, just more of a convenience and ill get them as I accrue the points for them. might spend a few bucks on them but I wont be spending a whole lot. im patient I can wait, and i doubt i will max them all out either way.

Unfortunately, not all of us are in a single-player SG. One of my SGs has between 12-20 players who use the base, so I can't always count on thier being space to unload salvage or enhancements that I might want later on.

We already have a decent amount of storage availible to us, its not like we wouldnt know what were getting into if we bought more storage- theres really no reason we'd need "just a taste". We're getting 400PP a month, so there's our disocunt on buying these things.
