I occasionally go "Hey, I'm a 6ft tall blue furred rabbit!" but somehow that doesn't elicit the response I thought it would.

Little uncomfortable by how many times I saw the suggestion that (general) you should lie about your gender to avoid abuse, because that puts the blame on you for you know, being honest. Or being a woman at all.

I much preferred the report them suggestions, which I should have done when a guy decided that since I was talking to him on a female avatar, that meant I wanted him to send me pictures of his *****. I was so confused, I thought it was a radioactive mushroom.

adding a female only server is pointless. all you will get is a lot of guys playing female toon's. true they have female only gyms for a reason. how ever this is a game...NOT a dating sight and its rated t for teen. whats next an Adult only server...ohh wait that's freedom server... j/k but really... asking for a female only server is just going to make the men want to play on it..Quot the late grate comedian Sam Kinison " men don't want it until you say we cant have it". well we are up to 15 pages on this thread now i wonder how meany more we can get.....

Oh, we were talking about a female only server, weren't we? It's so stupid of an idea I completely forgot to address the topic of the thread there for a minute.

A female only server is not only completely impossible to enforce, due to internet anonymity, but it's also completely ridiculous.

If there was a female only server, there would also have to be a gay only server, a black only server, a Catholic only server, etc. There would have to be an "only" server for any ethnic/religious/orientation/gender group there could ever possibly be.

The VIP server is enforceable. No subscription = no log in. How do you enforce a female only server when the game has no way of determining the gender of the person sitting at the computer? You don't, unless you want to have webcam verification that you are actually a woman. And since AI is remarkably unreliable in determining gender, Paragon Studios would have to hire someone JUST to monitor the webcam log-in system to ensure that only women are logging into the female only server. Then they would be guilty of invasion of privacy.

Like I said, completely ridiculous.

Are they asking to be harassed? No, I don't believe they are.

But don't get pissed when you wear something with a plunging neckline and you catch a man looking at your cleavage. You chose to put it where it can be seen, and men are GOING to look. If you don't WANT them looking, why did you wear that shirt?

I think that's what he was getting at. It's one thing to not want to be harassed. It's another thing entirely to wear alluring clothing and get upset when people even LOOK at you.

I used to like wearing a biker jacket, tons of skulls, **** kicking boots and some sort of satanic related tshirt. Ask me if I was ever surprised at people because they thought I was intimidating.

I couldnt get a cab dowtown dressed like that because the cabbie figured I would be trouble. It doesnt matter if I am most likely the safest customer they could get, that was the reaction I would inspire.

Am I to blame because people would make a snap judgement about who I was because how I was dressed? I dont believe so, and people that made that judgement I probably wouldn't want to chill with(It made a good filter frankly) But I was well aware that that was the likely reaction I would get.

This was pretty much my point.

When a woman intentionally goes out in public dressed like Red Light District Barbie, she doesn't really have much right to get upset when men look at her. She chose to wear those clothes, she should be expecting that response.

It gets even MORE ridiculous when the same woman sees nothing wrong with looking at a man walking down the street with his shirt off. If it's not okay for men to look at HER like that, it is equally not okay for her to look at THEM.

I hate the running animation for both the male & huge models, so I will keep playing female heroes/villains/rogues/vigilantes.

Put me in the camp of people (notice the generic noun) wear some types of clothing to get others looking at them. When they do so and people *do* look at them, then the wearing of those clothes was a successful strategy.

But that doean't mean they expect to get harassed, although, I would like to know what behavior the OP felt was harassing (so far not defined as far as I can see) - one person's teasing or joking comment can be another's harassment.

Because it's more comfortable in hot weather than something with a high neck?

I never said women wearing revealing clothing should expect to be harassed. But they should expect that a low cut top is going to draw attention to their chest.

I was referring to those women who wear a low cut, brightly colored shirt that draws attention to their chest, who then get upset when people look at their chest. Some people's definition of harassment is "that guy glanced at my cleavage when he was waiting on me at the store, he's harassing me!"

Also, you'd be amazed at the number of women who make a big show of being offended when someone looks at their chest, who are then smiling as they walk away.

(I work at a job where I have the opportunity to observe people without drawing much attention to myself, few people notice the janitor)

exposing more skin when it's hot outside is actually a bad thing if I remember right, of course that doesn't involve going to the beach.

If you're wearing something that you know will draw attention to your chest because it's hot out, don't get mad when guys look at your chest. That's all I'm trying to say. If you're wearing revealing clothing for reasons unrelated to it being revealing, people are going to look. It's human nature. Regardless of your reason for wearing it, its going to attract attention.

I've seen well-endowed women wearing a bikini top with denim shorts getting irate when their chest is being stared at. It's kind of a "duh" thing. You have an impressive chest and you're wearing a bikini top in a grocery store, and you expect people to NOT stare?

So only dark colors and plenty of covering can keep the Neanderthals away?

Yea, i never understood why some females wear very low cut tops or tight pants then get offended when people look at them.
I'd guess they actually want the attention, then try act all offended to get even more attention to themselves so more people look/stare.
Cause i'm pretty sure that if you don't wanna be stared at, you dress to cover, not tease
(much like the OP of this thread tbh).

Then be comfortable with the thought that peeps are checking your bits out. If you arent comfortable with that wear a turtle neck. Oh, wait, be comfortable being checked out if you are wearing a turtle neck.

Wear a snow suit. Wait, you will still be checked out. Better to be just comfortable with being checked out.
