Marvel: The Mighty assemble to battle The Worthy in FEAR ITSELF

So we all know The Worthy in Marvel's current mega-event, FEAR ITSELF:

As the Serpent wages war across the entire Marvel Universe with the Worthy leveling everything in their path – the Mighty must rise up to end their reign of chaos.

The group hasn't been revealed yet, but most are pretty obvious.

From left to right:

Ms. Marvel
Iron Fist
Dr. Strange
Iron Man
Unknown tall woman (Valkyrie or a She-hulk?)
Wolverine
Unknown woman (my personal bet is Sue Storm)
Hawkeye
Spider-Man

My guess for the tall unknown woman is one of the She-Hulks, Jen or Betty. For the other unknown woman I'm thinking Spider-Woman or Black Widow

Yes, cause what can be more awesome than swinging a mystically charged Wolverine around like a sword

Glad to see Dr. Strange getting some action time again.

"And for us this is the end of all stories, and we can mostly say they lived happily ever after. But for them it was the beginning of the real story. All there life in this world and all there adventures in Narnia had only be the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of The Great Story which no one on earth has ever read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before" - C.S Lewis, The Last Battle.

I havent been following many comics lately, I recognize most of the worthy, but not all of them. Is Thing one of them? And how id Cytorrak feeling iff Juggie is lugging around another mystical weapon?

As far as the Mighty, where are they getting there extra, whatever there gonna have, from?

Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?

Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?

Hulk and the Thing have been taken over by the spirits in the hammers. Currently Colossus is asking for Cytorak's help with taking down the controlled Juggernaut in X-Men. The weapons the Mighty posses are weapons created jointly by Odin and Iron Man.

Dr. Strange has actually been pretty active after being released from being the Sorcerer Supreme. He is currently a member of the New Avengers and had a part of the Hulks story in Chaos War where he was once again possessed by Zom.

Cytorrak powered colossus? Me likey.
Im just wondering what Odin and Tony came up with for Wolvie. Looks like spikes is the only change, except his claws appear to be glowing.

Dunno anything about Marvel Odin, but Mythology odin isn't a blacksmith or even remotely able to create such items through enchantment or otherwise. Mjolnir and almost all the Norse pantheon weapons come from dwarves if I remember right.

Yes, Mjolnir is forged by the dwarves in the comic, along with Beta Ray Bill's hammer Stormbreaker. ODIN simply empowers the weapons.

Don't know anything about this story. Was at the comic shop today and looked them over, just wasn't sure if it was worth picking up.

However, I'll have to say She-Hulk on the tall woman, and with that design, Spider-Woman as the other.

Wow. Just looked it up. Marvel U vs fear incarnate.

Totally NOT ripping off Sinestro Corps War at all.

Actually, given that in FEAR # 3 (spoiler) the daughter of the Red Skull who was the first of the Worthy to emerge killed Bucky Barnes as Captain America, thus necesitating Steve Rogers to suit up as Cap once again in Fear #4 (jsut in time for the movie) and the Black Widow and Bucky were lovers, so that smaller woman silhouette could be the Black Widow.

Or it's Sue Richards out to stop the empowered THING.

you could just look at the tron costume lines and compare them to the costumes of characters that might show up in such things and you'd probably get the right answer pretty quickly.

Wow this so called event looks like an unmitigated crap fest.... they should just put these comics out on rolls of toilet paper, at least then they might have a use.

lol @ Iron Fist

I'll never understand the love for this character. He's been at the top of my "lame list" since I first started buying comics in the mid 80s.

And just to be clear, he was an even bigger joke then than he is now.

All I know about Fear Itself is that Chris Hastings (of Dr. McNinja fame) wrote a three issue miniseries about Deadpool for it and this was the result:

The whole series is worth it just for this!
