They should make it accessible through the Midnight club.
AND have special missions (Hero, Villain, and mixed) as players race to ensure that damage is contained. Like making sure certain things and people weren't in Galaxy City when the meteors landed (even if it means, say, stealing the contents of the MAGI Vault?) That the war walls are maxed out to contain the impacts. And that the time-traveling forces of the 5th Column don't escape with samples of the new Shivan meteors...
That would be a LOT more interesting than just going to Ouroboros and visiting Galaxy City again, just to pick up the exploration badges and read the plaques...
Actually... what are they going to do about the plaques? Or will it require a trip to the echo to achieve the Pupil, Student, Intellectual, and Expert badges?

In today's Freedom Friday Q&A the level requirement for Ouroboros will also be lowered. Didn't say by how much, just that it will be lowered and that's about it.

Hmmm...wasn't it possible to get the Atlas Medallion at lvl 1 before, and now have to wait for level 14.

Why can't they just leave Galaxy City alone and put the big brouhaha in a whole new zone somewhere in the gaps between the existing zones? And if they simply MUST destroy an existing zone for dramatic effect, well, destroying Galaxy City is pretty meh. Why not go for the gusto and wipe out Atlas Park?

Galaxy City is boring. They're giving it gusto by wiping it out. Plus, Atlas Park is getting its own gusto with a redesign.

Galaxy's destruction is a done deal. There's no reversing that decision since the tutorial is in playable condition already. The Devs will not spend the resources to destroy 'something else.'
Making an Echo of Galaxy accessible by other means than a level 14 gate Ouroboros zone is doable. We just got to keep asking them to do it.

In other words, you needed to be able to get into Perez Park to complete the history badge you needed for Atlas Medallion, which used to have a level limit of 7, so the Atlas Medallion itself required you to be at least level 7.
I'm going to miss Galaxy City in it's current state, my very first heroes came from that city too. :<

They should just remove the entry requirement for Ouro altogether. I already have a couple of level 10s who have the portal and a level 7 who has it for theme because I took them all through the base version of the crystal with my 50 MM.
Anyone who knows how to get a portal will get one and if not; they can ask someone who has.

Atlas is more popular than Galaxy solely for the same reason that Freedom was for so long the undisputed most popular server: people are lazy, so rather than find out what the difference is between multiple unknown quantities, they just click the top thing on the list.

The devs have said this will remain as an accessible "Echo" from Ouroboros.
Will villains be able to access it now too? Would be cool if they could.
