Well, played with the Incarnate Armor. But most of pieces are kinda ridiculously huge on Hyperstrike who's already ridiculously huge all by himself.
Still, did a slight mod of his main costume. Link to full-sized by clicking on this image.
I'm actually impressed with the belt. Hyper is one wasp-waisted meat shield. And the belt fits him perfect.
And the path aura for clouds and lightning, it just looks COOL! Too bad it only looks this good when running in place.

It'd be really awesome without the weird glowing stuff. That makes it look like out of WoW.
I really don't like the Ascension armour myself at all.

So far all I'm seeing is Ascension armor that is.. Valkyrie-esque. Did they not bother to do anything tech related?
It looks like a mix of Arcane and Tech to me.

Man would I hate those pieces if they impacted anything outside of appearances... and I already am not much of a fan of the pieces.
I can't make a character that looks right with them at all.
So I guess I can save Astrals for the stuff which SHOULDN'T be I-locked (emotes, etc), at least, and ignore the armour...

The CoH forums won't host the images for you but no worries just get a free hosting site like Photobucket here make an account quick and upload the image from your game folder to it. Then the site will give you a series of unique image links for each pic. Copy the one you want and then come here and paste it the link into your post. Use the image code link ( it will have [IMG] tags at the beginning and end ) if you want to see the picture here or use the direct link one to put a text link to the file.
You can resize and tweak your images before uploading them to PB if you like with any image editing app (like photoshop or if you want a free one "Paint.net" and "GIMP" are good too) if you like as well.
Oh and welcome to art part of the forums.

It should also be mentioned that PB has a size limit of 1024x768 and though that is plenty big for a forum post (800x600 or smaller is even good enough) if you put up something larger to be hosted it will auto reduce it down... while convenient I've found that the image quality is not as good as if I manually reduce the image down in Photoshop myself.
...okay, I can't seem to find the glowing aura options for these... what's going on?
