So Solo Friendly Incarnate Path=Team?

It seems to say that if you prefer to solo you can run a group trial to unlock the Alpha slot instead of completing a soloable arc.
The Godzilla facepalm doesn't do this statement justice.

They did say they were looking at the idea of Incarnate arcs, so this might be an in between stage while they're working on them.

So the solo path is teaming? Really? No. I refuse to accept this. This cannot be correct. That's Kirk-killing-computer levels of circular logic.

So I can start the incarnate trials while solo? What? I mean... BZB is a badass and all, but he can't take down Marauder. Cuz Maruader has rage and thus tohit buffs and that makes BZB cry.
Ohh, I see... i have to team to get stuff to buy stuff that unlocks stuff on other characters? So it's not a solo path at all. Did a dev actually call it that?

How dare anyone solo in this game! Being an Massive, Multi-Person Online game measn you HAVE to team! And you have to like it! Why are you not loving this teaming, citizen?! You want the shinies, WHY ARE YOU NOT TEAMING LIKE WE ORDERED YOU TOO?!

What's so hard to understand. They're asking you to do the trial ONCE. Interact in a team ONCE. Then you get a pass for any other character you create.

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.
Just to clarify my position on teaming and features as they now stand in the game:
Soloing is fine.
Teaming is fine.
Preventing the progress of others is not fine.
I'm opposed to Closed Leagues. I'm in favor of Open Leagues. I'm in favor of a viable solo option, and until we have one, I am dependent on iTrials for my progress, and Closed Leagues retard or even stop that progress.
