It makes the game more interesting when you guys can pop in occasionally to hang out, chat, or create mayhem. I honestly wish we had server community reps who did this sort of thing on a more regular basis.
The first thing I heard when I logged in last night was: "Hey Doc, did you see the giant spider?"
I think a little bit of interaction with the community provides a huge return.
We like to see you in the game.

For days I was playing just to catch another glimpse of Ghost Widow, but I never saw her again. Just pop in game and do a mission with us. : D You have done it before when the game was ALIVE! Stand apart and keep it up. : D

When Beastyle was partying in Atlas, I flipped. Wish I had been around for the spider chases. XD
Random mayhem is fun!
It shows you care, and it shows that yes, you DO play the game. It mixes things up a bit... I like.

Ghost Widow used to be a real Pocket D Maniac on Virtue. She'd be there every weekend. I assume it was the one-and-only Melissa Bianco, but I can't be sure. I do miss the dev visits to our server like they were a few years ago.

Ghost Widow isn't Melissa Bianco. Melissa Bianco is War Witch, and would appear in-game as such. I was on a team once and Ghost Widow came and crashed the party. She didn't do much, but we went through the mission with GW's presence behind us.
The devs for CoH are among the best devs ever. We also have a great community team, unlike other teams for other games that just show up to get paid and only interact with the community as enforcers or just posting patch notes.

It would be cool if they actually roleplayed the signature characters instead of actually acting as paid trolls in PD -.-
I won't speak for the other members of the Community team, but I'm personally not much of a roleplayer when it comes to online games. I'm plenty fine when it comes to traditional pen and paper, however MMO RP has never resonated with me.
Besides, the Community team aren't a part of the CoH story, we'll leave that to guys like Protean and Posi
