On a related anecdote, one of the guys at work once bought a knockoff watch which went with the brand name of "A Seiko".

I made Zombie With An Axe and Axe-Wielding Zombie....Never failed to amuse me when people say the city was saved by Zombie With An Axe or that they want to grow up just like me.

My pet peeve is people who refuse to acknowledge it when I tell them my character has unlimited power. If I rp attack them they are of course disintegrated beyond the ability of any hospital or magic to restore. Yet despite this they refuse to delete their characters and still keep playing them as if nothing happened. ~Mandu, 07-16-2010

I started a brute named "A Taurus" (every other pun on the word "bull" was taken. Though I did manage to snag "Indestructa Bull"). He's still in his noob levels, though; my attention's been on other characters as of late. So no funny NPC chatter.

The Shock Treatment one isn't really funny by itself, but because of it the Peter Gabriel song Shock the Monkey got stuck in my head. ^_^

But "Not even A Trained Monkey can save you now!" is possibly the best line yet. ^_^

I would have gone with a trained monkey so the lines flow more smoothly. Not even a trained monkey can save you now sounds better than Not even A Trained Monkey can save you now. Still it is very funny.

I had a character on my old account named "a little girl"

It was HILARIOUS in PVP. "You have been defeated by a little girl"

ah my version of this was 'a Skull's Girlfriend'.

She got fed up of the boys getting all the fun and got her own mystical mojo (Dark/Dark/Ghost Widow (didn't have access to Dark APP back then)).

Rerolled a wolf with a shield on Virtue as a Praetorian. And then remembered that Praetor White has a thing for dogs. Punderstorm warning is in effect for Nova Praetoria....

This kind of NPC dialogue is the exact same reason I chose some of my character names. My favorite for this is my character "Red Tape".


The best NPC message I can remember from that character is:

"I heard that time traveling nazis tried to take over the world, but they were stopped by Red Tape"
