They still send out emails? I haven't gotten 1 since Vday event 2009.

I've gotten various support emails, beta invites, etc...just nothing marketing-related

So I had no idea about this.

I've already forgotten about most of you

It wound up in my spam folder. It's from: newsletters@ncsoft.com.

And you have to have receive newsletters enabled on your account page and they need to have your correct email address.

I know. Nothing has changed for my information regarding the checkbox in the account information.

Well, I didn't get that email (and nothing in my spam folder) and I used to get those emails.
Also, I was logged in yesterday after the time indicated and didn't get any Lucky badge.

As for the badge, just logged in and have it sitting in my "most recent" listing. I did not get a message regarding getting this badge just now, and I haven't logged on to this particular guy in ~6 days and don't recall a message then either.

I don't think it's just the players that are not getting it.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

But, there has been a change in the way badges are awarding:

The Constant, Lucky, and Loyal Customer all got awarded this past week without the usual splash screen and system reward message in chat when logging in. Same for all toons.

(And for those following along: yes, I did check Most Recent and Events tabs for Lucky before making this thread.)

I just checked a toon I have not used in a while. My Recent Badges tab showed that I was awarded the badge the moment I logged in, but I did NOT get the splasher screen, nor a notification in the reward chat.

I haven't been getting ANY notice of awarded badges lately. This includes Destiny Unlocked, Lucky, Scrounger, Mercenary, Vanguard Recruit, The Constant.... It's not just the newest badges created.

EDIT: Just logged into another toon. I got the message for receiving Heard the Call but not for Lucky, which was also awarded at log-in on this toon.

Exactly the same for me too, with both of the same badges. I actually asked around in globals as to why I wasn't awarded the loyalty badge because I was eagerly awaiting the notification in chat, then checked my most recent badges and it was sitting there.

After posting here I logged in. I guess a recent change has altered how badge awarding functions. I logged into a dusty toon with 345 days offline. It got Customizer, 3 vet badges, Constant, and Lucky. Only Customizer displayed in the chat and flashed across the screen, the others I had to check the badge window for.

I haven't received the badge nor have I received a email from NcSoft other than support ticket emails. No News letter emails in the past 2 maybe 3 years and I have the news letter checked to receive them.

Seems like more and more things are bugged than I thought.

Recently, I have also had the same issue with badges that get awarded on log in, Veteran Rewards, The Constant, Lucky etc

This is seeming very inconsistent.

The Constant and Lucky - Did not receive any sort of notice - not even in the system messages.

Day Jobs - These are still appearing in the system messages when I log in. No onscreen notice.

Incarnate - Got the first tier 4 on a character the other night and received both the system message notice and onscreen notice.
