well i think the push to add stuff should be slowed down as a LOT of stuff still has bugs.

I always love the irony in those replies. If this game was played by only 9 players, there would be 8 in a team and 1 always solo. Those 8 always say they do TF's and such every day and night and the server is populated, while the last.. well isnt.

However, as this is a MMO, i would expect something 'more' then a mere 9 players. Those few peeps running on /hide wont really dent the already low numbers on /sea, villainside taken at 2am few weeks ago: 7, 9, 4, 3, 12, 11. I know what you gonna say.. thats at least 3 people to team with! True, if at least 1 would reply or even invite me, or not just gonna log off after 1 wipe or mission..

I play MMO's for the MMO aspect, that means interacting with tons of people. I'm not playing a MMO with 11 people online, i rather would hop on any FPS/race game with even more people in a single race/fight/match then there are people online in Defiant.

First .. I want to say I'm very looking forward to the Global Server Access. Now I can also play with my American friends! (had to make a choice..so went for european because there would be more chance to run into friends due to the timezones).

But, I've been wondering...
I have a trial account on the American server. I never used it after trial ran out. Because I chose for the European server instead.
And I'm not planning to use it either. But... To keep things simple for myself.. I used the same name as my active European account, obviously, as many did.
So basically I'm kicking myself with that now! *pouts*

To my great surprise (not in a good way) I found out I cannot delete the non-active US trial account in any way. If there is some way, I would be very pleased if someone could explain it to me.
There should be a way to delete an account right?

I'm quite fond of my customs and aspecially my global name!
But for now, it looks like I can only hope I wasn't logged in as Darth Delicious last on the US server... am I right? *looks really sad*

Will servers still be down between 4:00 a.m. Pacific Time (7:00 a.m. Eastern Time / 12:00 p.m. British Time / 13:00 Central European Time) and 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time (2:00 p.m. Eastern Time / 7:00 p.m. British Time / 20:00 Central European Time) since server list merge is postponed?

Also will reactivation start tomorrow?

Servers will be down for maintenance tomorrow (Avatea should be posting something soon if she hasn't already), but not extended like we had originally planned for the GSA.

For those asking about conflicts with Trial global handle names: All trials global handles will be renamed to "Trial-[RANDOM STRING] once the global auth merge has completed.

The reactivation week will be postponed (we're working on sending an update out to all players and will be making posts on the main page, forums, Facebook and Twitter) until we're ready to pull the trigger on Global Server Access.

Of course as I'm writing this, Avatea is probably posting everything I just said .

Avatea, any chance we can get clarification on it there will still be separate clients for regions?

I have an NA and EU account. Will I be able to login to my EU account with the NA client, or will I have to download the EU client?

So does that mean that reactivation week will be held sometime during Month Of (Mother) May-hem?

Thanks for updating us.

Game accounts cannot be deleted once they are created. We are unable to remove or change this account. However, your "xxxxxxxxx" account will not effect any of your other game accounts.

Now I got the e-mail that NCSOFT is renaming my eu game account to EUxxxxxxxxx in order to stop the clash with my inactive only 2 days used trial game account on the us! This shows that renaming is possible. Something that was already logical. The man behind the server console in the us can rename or delete game accounts at will.

I ask you all to make an exception on your basic rules for all who have clashing names between inactive us trial game accounts and active eu game accounts! If deletion is not what you want... then rename my us trial game account to USxxxxxxxxx... and keep my eu game account untouched!

The final respons I mentioned above is not valid in this matter. My main game account 'xxxxxxxxx' on eu IS being effected! As it is being renamed in favor of my inactive US account!

For a while now, players have been noticing increased lag and power click........ activations mostly on the BAF and Lambda Trials. Lag during Hami and MoShip raids as well seems to have gotten longer, my question is:

Are the physical servers getting merged in to one location and is that causing a bandwidth bottle-neck at peak times or on large league maps and trials?

Fnord happens...

There is always lag before changes are made to the servers (like updates) probably because they are running background tasks.

i have seen the fnords.
