To be honest I'm more "offended" (or at least bothered) by a funeral parlour that looks more like a mainstreet retail outlet than a respectful establishment. That "storefront" just looks tacky and out-of-place. Sure the zombie billboard right next to it is ironic, but I probably wouldn't bother going to that particular business in the first place.

In defence of the Co-Op, it's always been known as the "cheap and cheerful" option for a funeral, as opposed to the more stately, sedate and sensible funeral parlors, more aimed at the bereaved on a low budget.

I'm more offended that there is an advertisement that big at street level.
I'm more offended that the article states that the "staff" was *shocked"; using buzz words is cool. How many people work there exactly?
I'm more offended that the good chancellor, the champion of the people, is quoted as saying "people will be offended"; not "some" people, or even hinting at the possibility that there might be a slight chance of offense taken.
I'm more offended that the area is only now getting to see "The Walking Dead"
I'm more offended that the article claims the show is a production of this "Channel 5" station; is this normal?
I'm more offended that I sound like I'm actually offended and not just pointing out bad reporting for a fluff article.

I'd like to point out, that that look could also be for a bank or any number of professional type buildings.

I'm more offended that there are some many Co-Op Funeral locations that I'm having a hard time finding that one on Google Maps.

That reminds me of a town I drove through that had a funeral parlor across the street from a wedding planner. It was impossible to leave one store without seeing the other.
