Alternate answer: the keyword is nigh.
you know, the part you quoted made me think of Johnny Butane as sort of an MMO version of Andrew Ryan.
Listen to the little Exhibit scene narrations and they might almost sound familiar.

Thank you unknown Tanker (and Controllers and Defenders) of the PuG Tin Mage that I ran...

I hovered from range and blasted Bobcat and never was attacked!

She was a piece of cake!

The irony of indirectly bringing up Ayn Rand in a discussion about superheroes being suppressed.

I'm off to write 'Tanker Shrugged' while people Google "Ayn Rand".

For some reference, Focus is a 1.64 scale attack. A level 54 Praetorian AV should hit for 933.88 damage with that attack. But at +3, it hits for 1.33 times normal damage, or 1242. And then its damage capped, which means it'll hit us players for 4968. Oh, and it has 310 feet of range, so forget about kiting that. Even Invuln is going to feel that in the morning.

Actually, that's a joke: I've seen smart granite tankers kite her, because at least Focus is a ranged attack for her, doing ranged damage (always lower than melee damage for critters). Be thankful Bobcat doesn't cheat with Focus like players do, and use the melee damage tables.

Anyway, as I said I've seen smart Granite tankers kite her around with taunt, because it still pays to stay out of melee range. You don't want to let her land, say, Eviscerate on you. That will land for a net 1.7 * 949.07 * 4 * 1.33 = 8583.39 points of damage. And if you are soft-capped with 45% defense, she still has a 44.5% chance to hit you (19% * 1.3 * 1.5 * 1.2 for the base 64% tohit, the +3 level difference, the AV accuracy bonus, and the 1.2 intrinsic accuracy of her version of Eviscerate). 500 points of damage every eight seconds is bad enough. Even Invulns and Granite tankers are going to notice 860 points of damage come blasting through capped resistances.

By the way, might as well go for the badge regardless. Her version of Follow Up damage caps her anyway, so unless you have tons of defense buffs and can make her consistently miss Follow Up, she'll effectively be vengeanced most of the time anyway.

You know, now that I think about it, I believe if you put a player in the drivers seat with pissed off Bobcat, she could solo Hamidon. Not the LGTF Hamidon, I mean Hamidon. I guess Praetoria's version of Hamidon must be a whole lot stronger, or Cole could have ended the Hamidon Wars in one afternoon by just putting a bullet in Neuron's head.
This brought a huge smile to my face, while drinking coffee this morning. It also gave me something to put in my signature. :P

I love finding out how much of an @$$ beating an angry catgurl will dish out in this game.

Don't I know you???

Well, perhaps, but mostly likely because of the South Park episode about reading.

She is known outside the US but is more infamous than famous. IMHO

Well, part of it was less what was said in that clip and partly drawn from a TVTropes Wild Mass Guess that went as follows: Ryan and Lamb each represent a type of online gamer.
Ryan's objectivist ideals entail that you sacrifice all charity, kindness, etc. for the sake of progress and personal gain. This is not unlike your average spawn-camping, kill-stealing, glitching/cheating ******* who does whatever it takes to win and rank higher on the leaderboards.

Lamb's ideals sacrifice individuality, free choice, etc. for the sake of unity. In essence, she is a Stop Having Fun Guy trying to enforce "Fox only! No items! Final Destination!" for the sake of Competitive Balance.

Okay, I suppose describing JB as the former part is a little harsh... The analogy made more sense in my head.

Honestly, whenever I hear that Bioshock scene what comes to mind is he sounds an awful lot like another narrator from the past..

I wasn't tanking at the time, but I was teamed with a tank who expected to last maybe five seconds after attacking Vengeanced Bobcat.

Also on the team were two kins, a rad, and a dark. By the time the tank actually reached Bobcat, she'd been debuffed into a helpless kitten.

I had np with either Bobcat/Neuron on my wp/ss tank. No emp on team..1 debuffer. It's true..the f/k on team made the diff I think. They are under-appreciated imo. Tanked Neuron first..with 2 warwalkers coming to his aid as we about had him down..took them out and then focused on Bob...I dont remember using but 1 inspir throughout.

Ya, my blaster can tank her with Barrier, Vengence and 7 other applications of Maneuvers.

Oddly the only problem I had tanking Bobcat, was that I was on a Stalker and she lost interest in flailing at me pointlessly. I don't remember the exact team make up but I was consistently between 60 and 80% Defense thanks to Divine Avalanche.

Again only problem was that she got bored attacking me.

EDIT: forgot to mention this was without Barrier.
