I need practice, you'd like some free art.

Okay, people! I really want to get back into drawing things, but it's been a while and I'm rusty and low on ideas. I'm sure some of you have characters you'd like to see drawn. So here we go!

1) Post in this thread with a reference picture of one (1) character. If there's a particular attitude, expression, pose or situation you'd like them in, feel free to include that as well.
2) I'll go through and pick out ones that seem fun to draw. I'll let you know if I don't pick yours.
3) Drawings will be posted to my DA account and linked in this thread.
4) I'll just be doing pencil sketches for now. I'm doing this for free and I'm out of practice, so please adjust expectations accordingly.
5) You can repost drawings of your character anywhere, color them, photoshop them, whatever, as long as you credit Meagen Image for the pencils and don't make money from it.

Here is my youngest character currently (at age 9!)-Pink Pika



An avid collectable card gamer, Pika purchased a rare card online...which turned out to have a spell on it- the end result was that she gained the powers on the card- electric powers, as it turned out. She then took the name of the character on the card-

She's currently learning to control her powers at Paragon Junior Supers Academy- if only so she can shock the bad guys instead of frying them...

Her favorite 'move' so far is the ability to encircle others (usually bad guys and bullies) in a pink electric fence.

(btw, did you know there is actually a critter called the Pika? Yup, it's true, just click here for details!)

I'll throw one out there though I haven't played him in a while. May be time to change his AT...

This is Maelstone, a stone melee/stone armor brute. So anything Earth related would be cool if you do end up drawing him!
-He does not have a nose, just you can't exactly show this in-game, tried to reinforce that by having this part of the face black. He is living stone, so why would he need a nose?


The legs are not shown because they are just omega colored black like the legs.

Nothing in particular in mind, but he's not actually grim like his costume might suggest.

Well if you need a little more practice, might I offer Micro Lad! He's just your average teenager with an above average I.Q. and a below average line of sight.

He like's to pull pranks but they always seem to backfire on him, but he doesn't let that get him down.


Micro could be used in all sorts of shots. Got a spare coffee cup? Yea toss him in there. Have an old action figure package and no action figure? Yep, he'll fit!

Silver Gale, it's cool that you plan on practicing by drawing other people's characters. I'll add one of my characters to the pool of candidates.

She is my cybernetically enhanced space pirate catgirl. Her name is Kalenta and she is a dual pistol/traps corruptor. Her right arm and right eye were replaced cybernetically after a catastrophic injury to both.

She is the first mate and weapons specialist on Chronotrapper's ship. Chronotrapper's crew make a living harassing and marauding rikti ships, then selling their goods to the highest bidder. The crew followed the Rikti assault to Earth, their ship got disabled and now they are trying to gather the necessary parts from the Rikti invaders and other technologically advanced groups.

I'll throw my main, Elite Dreadnaught, in for consideration for your practicing needs!

If you are still looking for more characters to draw, well here is mine.
Short version: Sorceress and thus spell caster, hates Circle of thorn with a passion. She tapped into a Phoenix and thusly if she falls, like the phoenix she gets "reborn". Loves relaxing in Founders Falls with a cup of tea (or cappuchino).

For now I just want to get back into drawing poses and such. Clean and simple designs are good. Too much detail work means I'll probably wuss out, at least right now.
