IIRC, Victory is the unofficial EU server on the NA server list but I'm sure it doesn't matter too much. We'll be everywhere soon enough. 
For me, I'll be rolling up on Virtue to experience some of their RP. I doubt it will ever take over from Union for me though.

I have no idea what to do,
Theres many NA players I'd love to team with, but have no idea what servers they play on (likewise one or 2 I may like to avoid).
I may have to join whatever TF etc channels exist for each server and just see what chatter goes on and where I might fit in.
It will be good to have somewhere to play when I am forced to play at non-peak EU times by work.

While Freedom is the most populated server, I would personally recommend "Virtue" or even "Champion" for someone new to the NA servers. Virtue offers "a good bit of everything" including low level teaming, TFing, RP, PvP, and other stuff and it has a really good population base. Champion while is less population than Freedom/Virtue, it's where I see the most amount of "hardcore" type playing happening plus it seems to be doing alright on population issues.
Me? I'm thinking about making a second home on one of the EU servers since I'm a GMT+2 time zone even though I play on the NA servers. Would be nice to have somewhere to go when the population on NA servers is down (mostly around noon/early evenings for me).

That being said Union is my home and while i will make alts on other servers, which ones i dont really know. More than likely one on each server now.
Edit: But i already know that on freedom i will be making my support toons. Ah its going to be good to be able to make a toon and not think "hmmm but can it solo?".

Here's a question for you; will they be linking up Global Chat in any way or will playing on the US servers still mean being isolated from your EU friends and channels?

Would have thought global chat would have been one of the first things to have been tested out in the new server list since it is such an important part in our communication.
Though now you mention it . . . . my main is going to have so many chat channels now

Well, Victory will always be my home server, but I'm excited to create new characters on Union and Defiant to get to meet new players.

For making new home, I was thinking that we could choose some low populated US server and populate it with EU people

I already had two second homes on Infinity (heroes) and Virtue (villains). This just means I'll be able to invite my own alts on every server now.

I think I will be rolling a toon or two on Defiant, maybe one on the german speaking server so I can practice the language, which I am teaching myself. =D

i will stay to defiant...... as i stated ingame, i think that champion is the more defiant-like US server [an opinion that formed from what i read in forums]

I'll probably create a few more alts on EU servers, but frankly I have level 50s on Freedom, Justice, and Victory and I still play on Virtue nearly every night, so that probably isn't going to change.

It would be great if they threw in a free character transfer for about a week. As for whom "they" are i have no idea, is it devs or ncsoft? I think they would make a fair amount of money from character transfers even if they lowered the cost with this announcement.
