For folks that don't like tfs and trails, yeah nothing in the issue for them.

I also laugh at the folks who say "wait there will be more". When they hell has that been true recently?

The issue looks like a solid issue that builds further on Preatoria and probably offers ways to get into the Incarnate system without the nonsense of the WST, and allowing folks to ignore Mender Ramiel. That's a win to me. (Based on other dev comments and the info for the BAF, NOT JUST the issue 20 overview for those wondering.)

Should there be more for folks who despise the praetorian storyline? Sure.

But I'd assume that's coming in future issues.

EDIT: With that said future issues need to get back to the unfinished areas of the game: namely pvp and bases. The lack of ANY work on them is starting to become obvious even to people who cover mmos in the press, as was mentioned in a recent article.

That's a valid complaint, I don't think they usually withhold information like that with these issue announcements. All I can possibly say right now is patience.

heh, I agree sounds like plenty for me. I'm good. Hell I would have been good with just the fact that there is another path to get into the Incarnate System.

But once again I can see how folks want them to focus on other storylines that have been left stale for some time in favor of "goatee universe" (I LOL every time I rea dthat) may not be too excited for Issue 20. Or those who were hoping for a bone to be thrown to pvp or bases.

I think Issue 20 is fantastic but can see how/why some may not be pleased.

I can't disagree more. I spend 90% of my playtime around the 20-30 range. The focus on 50s lately is fantastic for those who have been asking for it, and I'm happy for them. But we need stuff under 50.

Definitely agree with this though, and I actually kinda like Praetoria. I just feel I'm getting an overdose of it. I'm still not really understanding why incarnate content is weighted around it either.

I'm happy that we're getting endgame and that this Praetoria storyline is being continued. Players want this, and I enjoy some of it. But lately it feels like that's all we're getting. I was genuinely suprised we were getting a pair of TFs that didn't cap at 50.

OK, that's fair. I pretty much assume that's coming since the Sneak Peek BAF trial talked about earning exp towards new slots.

That last bit only applies to the two new trials, though. For regular teaming, the queue system does nothing. Heck, unless you feel like street sweeping potentially for hours at a time, you're still going to have to organize a raid like normal anyway, so the queues...still don't really matter a lot, as near as I can tell.

It would be . . . pretty errr "interesting" to not have at least another slot open in an issue called INCARNATES.

Can you imagine how silly it would be if that -wasn't- going to be the case?

Although, if the Devs actually did decide to do something so epically stupid like not including new Incarnate content in an issue called "Incarnates" it would at least be worth a good laugh to see fringe lunacy like yours justified here.

The huge mechanic improvements to actually apply to grouping and not just running the two new trials. That'd do me actually and be a massive improvement to how I play the game.

Seeing as how the Alpha Slot was pushed out of GR at nearly the last moment . . . yeah I can see how some folks would want confirmation.

I don't think it's fringe lunacy at all.

I look at it like this. On September 10, 2001, the United States and its people had a lot going on. The next day, everything changed. Things that seemed really important stopped being so important.

Likewise, Primal Earth has been invaded by a mad man-god and his rabid followers. All that other crap needs to be put on the shelf for a bit until we take this sum 'O a gun down.

Hmmm, reading this comment again, it seems I misunderstood how the League system works.

Can it not be used to organize regular 8 man teams?

(Wasn't something we were focused on testing during the BAF test )

I want the devs to remember that one of the strengths of this game is its soloability. There is absolutely nothing in this Issue that isn't group based.

Well to be fair GR wasn't called "Alpha slot 100% certain to be here".

Perhaps my phrase "fringe lunacy" was a tad much. But I think to have overactive concerns we're going to have a repeat of what happened to the Alpha slot it a bit unwarranted as well.

That's true.

However, there are still plenty of threats that I would not necessarily call it best to ignore.

Rularuu comes to mind.
