We've all been there: you're in the middle of a crafting session and you run out of salvage. So, what do you do?

Go to the auction house and pay inflated prices? No, you go to AE and spend tickets to buy the salvage you need.

But then you have to travel allllll the way back to your base, a University, or the RWZ just to complete your crafting!!

Wouldn't it be "super" if you could buy your salvage AND craft your recipes in the same place?

Well, now you can!! The Crafter's Cafe is now open at an AE near you!

The next time you need to reload on salvage, simply fire up arc #487283, Crafter's Cafe, and explore this non-combat, 1 mission arc...complete with usable Invention Tables!

When you're done crafting, simply click your way out! No muss, no fuss!!

Crafter's Cafe is now looking for feedback on what you'd like to see in this simple, inventive mission! Would you like patrol dialog? Different clues? Custom patronage? Optional combat? Let us know how we can serve you better!

EDIT: As noted later in this thread, you do not get credit towards the Field Crafter badge when using the invention tables in this arc. It's not a bug, it's due to the anti-badge farming code put into AE. Also, it has been reported that you cannot craft the Lost Curing Wand in the café. Attempting to craft it will delete your salvage and not reward the wand, leaving you unable to complete the following mission. I suggest you stick with crafting IOs for personal use or selling

Very nice idea. Out of curiosity, how many glowies are there? I found 5 (including the computer that ends the mission).

You should request other marketeers/crafters here to send you their character file so you can add them as NPC/allies/enemies in the mission with snark remarks.

That's what I did with my arc.

I can't imagine that dropping a crafting table in a mission is WAI.

Though it makes me wonder if you could drop a salvage/enhancement storage rack.

He isn't dropping a crafting table in, he's just using a map that has them already. The vanguard base conference map (used in one of the Vanguard missions and the Tin Mage TF) has functioning crafting tables already set up.

Since defeat badges don't tick when you defeat an enemy in AE, will you still get badge crafting credit for using the work-tables in MA?

BTW, brilliant idea anyway!

I haven't tested it, but they should still count toward crafting badges.

You don't get inf, damage or debt badges in AE.

I'm fairly certain that when in an AE mission, you can ONLY get credit for AE badges.

I tested it in a big hurry before joining a Task Force, so I wasn't thorough, but crafting one level 35 end mod did not advance my progress from 9 of 19 toward the badge.

I tested it this evening. No crafting badge progress occurred. It would appear this won't quite be as helpful for gaining Field Crafter, but it certainly was a clever concept.

Yep, tested it tonight, too. 3 inventions and no progress. But it still beats running back to the base for normal crafting

I just tested it and similarly no badge credit but very convenient from the Atlas Park WW. Also nice in Sharkhead.

This is an awesome idea.

I don't particularly craft for the badges, but am working on an IO build where I find myself making frequent back & forth trips around Talos. This will indeed be helpful in cutting out some of that business.
