Now Open: the Crafter's Cafe!

I have been running this ever since I found it!!! I actually created one for myself to make it easier for me to find. One thing I did different was to put the mission complete button in the first room that way I can just hit it before I craft then hit exit to leave. That would promote people to not look around but makes it a little easier. I could not find you exit one time that is why I did what I did. Like I said love the concept and wish it was my idea

Thanks Spike! I was originally going to put the blinkie in the front room but figured players new to the map would get confused when the mission ended and there was no crafting table around.

I've run into the blinkie hunt issue myself, tho, so maybe it's time for an update. Afterall, convenience is key!

If you cant find the exit button why not just hit the quit tf button in the team window .

You could disclaimer it. Problem would be that you may not get as many people to read your news you have tied into arc.

I really liked the idea of making it more convenient by putting the Cafémputer up front so I made the changes last night.

NOTE: I had to switch the blinkie to a Rikti computer, since the Front area doesn't allow Wall objects, but I think it ties in better with my concept, anyway

An 'updated' note has also been added to the mission's description text and the Barista's dialog has been changed to direct customers to the new location.

Hopefully regular customers won't be too confused on their next visit *crosses fingers.*

I'm also hoping the added convenience may add up to a few more 5 Star rates as a recent, unexplained spat of 1 stars have knocked it down to 4-star hell on the Search list. I have a sneaky suspicion farmers kept mistaking it for a farm since it was 1 mission long, had a blinkie objective, and was near the top of the list.

I've used this a couple of times now and it's nice to have for sure. BUT be warned -- I tried to use it to craft my Lost Curing Wand from the Midnighters' Club arc and ran into a problem -- the components were destroyed, but I didn't get a wand. Ultimately had to open a support ticket to get it fixed. Just a heads-up.

I'm sorry you had to go through the hassle of support to get your salvage back. This is actually a known limitation of the arc and was noted in this thread's OP as well as highlighted in bold red text in the mission dialog. But it's good to bring up occasionally, as many players are continually discovering the Cafe and may have skimmed over those details.

Also noted in the warnings: you do not earn credit towards the Field Crafter badge with the AE table.

Again, I'm sorry for the hassle. Next round's on the house!!

PS- normal temp power recipes DO work with the tables, the Lost Curing Wand is a special case since it is not actually crafted but is a mission complete reward or some other kind of mechanic.

Oh, sorry. I may have seen those the first time I used it but that was weeks ago. Then when I got the idea to try make the wand, I naturally just skipped through quickly. Derp!

Oh, and kudos to the support team. This happened on a Sunday and I think they responded to my ticket and had me fixed up and on my way within about 10-15 min. Solid.
