hmm... couldnt get mine in on time... for some reason I thought deadline for it would be close to the end of the month :*(
It's an open contest still in March so jump back in.

..I was just drawing Tartyrsause squishing a pile of tiny snowmen under him and though, hey..lets have baby new year and some monsters looking on.. then I thought, well.. lets have lady winter too.. and.. err.. well lets have her trying to climb on top of Tartyr while hes on the snowmen, and then its like.. well, I dont really like lady winters belt shes wearing, so she should just be naked while climbing on Tartyrs back and.. um... it all goes down hill after that.. ..umm.. I did think I did a nice job on the snowmens carrot noses though..

Slandering the name of a great hero. Forgive me. I recognise the costume now that you mention it. When I first posted, I blended Darth's ID name with my mental concept of the "Title" of the work... and then by assosiation (mentaly... as I am Mental) "Darth delicious" just went straight to "Evil". hehe

Updated the Player Events threads and EU Lounge a few days back. I would ask again that someone else please take over. It just takes a few minutes each month to post a link to the current months vote thread.
While I want as many people to participate in the voting as possible I don't want to give the impression that I'm asking for votes since I am also a contestant. I think it'd be better if someone impartial handled it.
I'm voting really late, since this place gives so much grief for being early.
Also, I am voting, since I see my art as a contribution, not a competition. I see art differently, as a creative endeavour, rather than a destructive one. Yeah, I'm being deliberately Gervaisian

Congratulations to one and all. I think one thing that this month has made pretty clear - a lot of the time it's not always about the technique and detail in your work as it is about the overall concept. Lousy Day's piece might not be the most detailed, but it had one of the best concepts. The same can be said about Darth Delicious's piece - for a black and white sketch it made up for the lack of polish with a strong concept. Just something to think about for future months. And as for the points standings (with a couple adjustments to last month to keep things consistent - awarding CR the 2 bonus points for winning, and adjusting Airhead's early bird points from 5 to 2):

Sorry Bubba but one quick correction to your scoring count for this month.
Airhead has 10 points not 7.
It still doesn't change his standing in the ranks but he actually did get a first place vote and it should be counted.
